It would really show the measure of his ego and inability to take criticism, much like Rodgers. Salah, regardless of what he has said about the manager, has earned the right to play his final game at Anfield. This is something that feelings and egos need to set aside for. Much like Robbo should be playing as well.

Well, I certainly hope so. And I certainly hope it was Gordon doing so. That would be an indicator of what is to follow. I hope and expect that he doesn't hold back one iota. This requires extremely strong leadership, decision and incision to rectify.
He needs to empty the chamber and leave nothing behind in order for us to reclaim our identity. I believe he'll do it.

Ah, lads, Salah has to play. An icon. But let's not pretend that what he did doesn't deserve reprimanding. Don't let the hatred of Slot blind the obvious. If it was a player at another club (Ronaldo, for example), we would be saying it was out of order and he has to be dropped.
But Sunday is now a day of enjoyment, a send off to two legends and I hope Mo gets a hattrick.

It's the last game of the season, and from what the owners saw against Chelsea, they know the fans are on edge. Why give them more ammunition and bench Salah?
Regardless of what you think of what Salah said, he is a legend and deserves a great send off, which should involve playing from the start of the game.

I don't think it's unusual at all, to be honest. Completely expected in my opinion. As I said the other day, I wouldn't be surprised if Slot was considering benching Mo, which would be a disgrace beyond measure.
Obviously the club feels the same, and have taken measures to ensure Sunday isn't absolute mayhem. Imagine we lose to Brentford and Mo or Robbo don't play. Riots have been started over a lot less.

I've not posted about Mo and what he said. I took some time to think about it.
It's interesting what ppl think of his action, by this, the message itself, some say he should be dropped from the squad, some to the bench and so on.
Myself, well, I look at it more from the perspective that Mo is a whistle-blower, there's wrongdoing, he's letting it be known - putting himself out there.
Remember too that they openly tried to sell him to the Mid East.
I applaud what he has done in many aspects, very sad his last season has been a bitter one, he doesn't deserve that.

If you're siding with Slot then that means you're happy with the dross he's serving up. Salah spoke for the fans and for the good of the club, there is no personal motive in this for him other than seeing us win something after he has left.

Florian, it was out of order and poor timing. Boss lad - boss player, but not the smartest. His ego got in the way, and I'll say it again that people pay good money to watch games without comments like that, as things are bad enough as it is.
I suspect that Mo doesn't have the plums to tell the manager outright and goes via his agent or social media.

Well, all I can say is that I give more credence to Mo Salah and his statements than anyone else at the club. His professional and personal standards are what Slop and Co should be aspiring to. The reason we're in the mess we're in is because of their insistence to promote and accept mediocrity. He's above that. And rightly so. If the dressing room had united alongside him last Dec, we wouldn't be looking at the rubbish we're being served up since.
Slop and Co have taken us all for granted, and have treated us like fools. Giving us the football they did this season and expecting us to accept it is nothing but disgraceful. The sooner those frauds are out of the club the better we'll be.

Sarah doesn't deserve to be reprimanded at all.
He's not a robot. He has an opinion about the club he cares about. The football has been dross. We have been utter crap. Slot is responsible for that.
Players should be reprimanded for burying their heads in the sand and saying nothing at all. That is far more damaging for the club.

No bother, Adam. It's all about opinions. All I'm saying is we're great at getting on our high horses and slaughtering the likes of Ronaldo and Sancho at Utd, Van der Ven at Spurs when they stick the boot into the manager.
That is all I am saying. If it wasn't the circumstances of this weekend being his last game, Salah would be dropped, and I don't think people would be surprised at that.
