I think Ekitike is going to be the one we sign personally. I just hope we don’t overpay, because I don’t think he’s guaranteed to succeed in the Premier League. A lot of strikers signed from the Bundesliga have struggled. Haller, Werner, Havertz, Nkunku etc. Of course you get the odd Haaland and Firmino though.

If Fede, Jota and Nunez all leave, which looks likely, plus Doak and Maybe Diaz too, its clear we will be buying more than 1 forward.

Mk I think if we can get Ekitike for say 55-60 with add ones would be good no more. Alvarez if convinced would be amazing and Madrid paid 70m for him so I'd hope Darwin plus 40 would get him.

Only seen Ekitike against spurs and can’t say I was overly impressed. But appreciate that was only 2 games. Could be a risk. Would much prefer Alverez, but been a great start to the transfer window by the sounds of it so hopefully a few more signings and we look to progress on from last season.

MKS, you can forget that happening. German clubs save their outrageous player evaluations for PL teams only cos well, they all have the cash esp. the big PL teams. We will overpay for Eketike, guranteed. Personally, I don't rate him like an Alvarez or Isak but if that is who Slot really wants then, so be it.

Can anyone explain how come Maureen has had Osimhen on loan at Galatasaray all season, is Maureen going back to Chelsea and taking Osimhen with him this season, as Etitike is being linked as Osimhen's potential partner up front also.

Why is Gakpo V2 an insult?
Gakpo is great. Broke the record recently for most home goal returns in a row.
18 goals and 7 assists in all competitions this season from left wing.
To get those kind of numbers playing in the premier league, you are obviously a very good player.
For the record I would prefer Alvarez though too.

Does anyone think that overpaying for anyone or anything is a good idea?
Does anyone know what Ekitike's true value is and what we are going to pay for him?
I believe we are favourites for where he will be playing next season, though.

Being serious @Rigsby, I don’t think there is a ‘true’ or absolute value, as such, for any player. Any player’s value depends upon the particular value placed on him by anybody who wants to buy him. As an example, our valuation of Wirtz seems to be higher than that of Citeh. It’s an interesting discussion topic though.
