It's quite interesting listening to the ex Liverpool player saying he's welcome back anytime by the Liverpool owners. The fans are the club. Business men come and go. The fanbase forever remains and never forgets. Liverpool fc isn't a stepping stone for such a horrible club. He'll fit in well.

Batman, the large majority of Anfield gave him a good send off at the last game. Whatever boos there were, were easily drowned out. If you were there booing, that was your choice, but you were in the minority.

RM are contemptible, but the level of vitriol between the two clubs and sets of supporters isn't anything the same as it is between us and any of our domestic rivals, especially the two Manchester clubs. It's not like he went there.

Rome you're out of touch. His arrogance knows no end and most Liverpool fans are glad to see the back of him now. He won't be getting any opportunities back at the club if when it fails at Madrid. You're talking about booing lol. That lad could care less about you or any Liverpool fan. His brand, ego and beard is far more important. I'm not referring to facial hair either. Batman, I've been going to Anfield for nearly 50 years, mate, I'm not out of touch. Was there for the Arsenal and Palace games. He divided opinion. Me personally, I'm indifferent. My point is, not all Liverpool supporters despise him, like you're trying to make out. Let's agree to disagree.
He's gone now, we are still champions, and we are having the most exciting summer in our history. Shall we move on.

People forgive Torres because the club was in a terrible place and was miles away from getting better, its also become less clear over time whether he forced his way out or was forced - either directly or indirectly by the clubs lack of ambition.
That was my first heartbreak, but with time most people understand and concede that we would likely do the same in the same position.
Owen will never be forgiven for going to the Mancs, and i doubt the way Trent left will ever allow him to be forgiven either.
