The run of form is just awful.
In the last four calendar months - 5 league wins in 17 games.
21 points out of a possible 51.
Not forgetting one of those wins involved hanging on for grim death against a dreadful spurs team with nine men.
For me the Evanilson chance towards the end of the game sums up everything that has gone wrong with this team. Bournemouth pick the ball up just outside their own box. They run it effectively in a straight line up the entire pitch, nobody gets close and when Evanilson is played in there are only five outfield Liverpool players in shot and one of those is Hugo! It wasn't exactly a lightening quick break either. Dom and Ryan have ambled back- without really giving maximum effort to get back to make a difference. At least they gave some effort to get back I suppose. Endo and VVD had had an attacker each but essentially only closed the space in the middle of the pitch and left both attackers in behind them. It's so, so poor on so many levels.

I remember watching that attack thinking wtf is Gravenberch doing, he was jogging parallel to the ball not making any effort to get back in. He's escaped so much criticism this season, I don't know if it's him or Slots told him to play further forward but for the love of god can he not just do what he done last year which made him one of the best midfielders in the league. Just looks like the Grav we had under Klopp lately.
So frustrating. In fairness Dom usually makes multiple lung bursting runs and recoveries, Macca was very poor too but in his defense he hasn't got that stride or pace in the locker, Grav does.
So open, so easy to play against, and so boring to watch sideways pass after sideways pass. loads of possession with very little creativity. 2 set pieces, can't really remember aside from Wirtz shot, Petrovic making a save.

I seen a stat last night that we had 117 corners and scored 1 goal from them. That's ridiculous.

Absolutely Diabolical from us yesterday.
We'd lost the game an hour before kick off when the Line Up was announced
The performance was worrying though, Van Dijk and Gakpo, they were shocking. Don't even know where we go from here, he's Not getting sacked and we're not getting Top 4.

Every time the camera panned out there was a huge gaping hole in midfield. They could run through us at will. Has been like that far too often and not been addressed. Not withstanding the fact our midfield has no physicality, no defensively nous and is weak and ineffective at defending and attacking.
At the rate we're going, we'll be in a relegation battle before long. Can anyone genuinely see where our next win is coming from? Because I can't.

What do you expect though? Everyone was gassed up after 70th minutes. That's probably why most are jogging back.

LFC have, physically wise, had a pretty easy week. They should be on their arses after 70 minutes.

We would eventually get here. We all knew it. Some of us only got here a lot earlier than others. No new ground has been broken here.

We passed the ball all over the pitch for 30 mins first half then we were caught out twice and they scored two goals . We come out second half pass the ball around for 15 minutes get a corner score then we again pass the ball around the pitch until we get a free kick we score then throw it away they score in dying seconds .
We had a very large portion of the play and we had to score from dead balls and never troubled their keeper in open play.
Edwards and Hughes have had enough time to organise the buying of players that we needed
to make the squad stronger but they have sat on their arse's in their nice warm offices while the team has fell of a cliff and a manager who has been found out . All three need to be brought to task in front of FSG and explain why this has occurred and then removed from their position immediately.
