As to Alonso not wanting Liverpool? Most rumours are that we weren't in for him right now. We made enquiries when he left Real, but no contact since.
That's on us, not him.
As to him not leaving when he was at Leverkusen, well I certainly admire that loyalty, and it paid off in spades for both us (no 20) and them (unbeatables) so I can't hold that against him.
