Always thought that UEFA were corrupt and money grabbing, but they are like Liverpool County Premier League when compared to FIFA who are the Super League.
Completely get that even if the UEFA members called the equivalent of a vote of no confidence in Infantino, there are enough smaller countries that are getting 'funding' from FIFA who would still keep Infantino in.
Therefore I was very pleased to read that UEFA will be boycotting future World Cups if Infantino's latest money-grabbing plan is enacted.
Well done (and I don't say that often about UEFA).

It's now open corruption. He's not even had the sense to do it behind closed doors.
He's offered each regional organisation a flat fee of $40 if they agree now. If they don't accept, they get $20m once it's done. In other words, it's getting done even if you vote no. He thinks he can do anything. Spent too much time with Trump. You can't sell what you don't own. I'm glad UAFA have stepped up. What's to stop UAFA saying we will hold our own WC, we will invite the top 16 countries from around the world to join in.
European football playing countries hold a lot of power, it's now time to leverage that position. The cost of tickets, travel, accommodation and food was disgusting during the World Cup. This t*** should have been forced to resign regarding the reversal of the red card. His comments telling people to relax, meditate, are an absolute piss take. He will most likely still have a plan to get this done. Let's hope not.

It's quite clever by UEFA. If they follow through with the threat, there is no WC without the top nations (75% of the quarter and semi finalists were from Europe).
CONCACAF and the AFC have now both condemned the fact that they weren't informed, and you'd hope that they'd go one step further and not vote for FIFA's idea.
Plus, the money available won't be what FIFA think if there are no European sides involved.
Hopefully this is checkmate, and Baldylocks crawls back into his greedy lair and locks the door.

The BBC had an interesting piece about the company who would be managing the enterprise for FIFA. Apparently it would be the brother of Donald Trump's son-in-law. The Trump Infantino mutual benefit society gathers pace.
