Tchouameni or Zaire Emery
Can’t see PSG allowing two of their squad players to leave for Liverpool though so I will go with the Tchouameni fella.

Tchouameni who decked a team mate? Yeah, no thanks. Men who communicate with their fists during a disagreement with friends/colleagues are not men, they're wild animals.
He's not even that good to justify his crap attitude.
04 Aug 2026 06:27:07
Zidane decked a player with his head once. Clearly not his fists, but all the same, fully deserved in my opinion. Maybe Tchouameni was the same. ?♂️ He would be a step up on some of the midfielders we have at the moment, not ideal, but not the worst either.

Tchoumeni regressed significantly at Real. Possibly due to the multiple injuries. I think we all remember the exciting player that burst onto the scene, but he is not that player anymore, in my opinion. With Mk on this one.
Zaire-Emery would be a better fit of these too.
If we are going down this more realistic route, I think Nmencha would be a superb decision.
I took hugely ambitious marquee signing as someone just at the highest possible level, with an incy wincy touch of possibility. To me that's Jude Bellingham or Freddy Valverde.
Sami mentioned Vitinha. Would take him in a heartbeat. I just struggle to see how on earth we would get him. I haven't seen PSG linked to midfielders. I can't possibly see how they don't have him as completely untouchable.
And, I know that's a strange comment after mentioning Valverde and Bellingham, but Real Madrid are looking at all sorts of midfielders. They seem to be looking to change their dynamic, and I wonder if 1 of their big dogs has become a possibility. I think Real would happily sell Tchoumeni/Camavinga. And while I'll hope for the best with either, I certainly would not get overly excited like we bought some game changer.
Bellingham, Valverde, Vitinha are absolute game changers I could never have imagined us getting. So fingers crossed. ?
It could all fizzle out into nothing, but it's nice to dream.
Fyi, I'd have Nmencha/Zaire-Emery over Tchoumeni/Camavinga any day.

Odds on Curtis getting his block knocked off by Touchy-meany? Evens
04 Aug 2026 08:56:37
Why did he "deck" his teammate though? What was the argument about? I can think of a number of things that if they were said to me that person would be getting a smack.
Maybe it was deserved, maybe it wasn't..
04 Aug 2026 09:13:18
TIR, Zidane was an animal as well then. So was Cantona, Suarez, Barton, Greenwood, Paredes, Flanagan etc.
I don't want scum at the club. Grown adults who resort to violence (excluding self defence or combat sports) are just pathetic low IQ delinquents.
04 Aug 2026 09:40:09
some things definitely warrant a good hiding. IQ has nowt to do with it.
04 Aug 2026 09:48:26
@CBell, Social media had it that Valverde was having an affair with Tchpo's wife. Not sure if it was true or not but it was something that was circulating at the time.
04 Aug 2026 09:55:00
The scum in that scenario was Valverde for banging his Tchouameni's missus. If that's what happened, then he deserved it
04 Aug 2026 10:02:23
If that's true he'd be getting more than a smack then
04 Aug 2026 10:09:09
Zidane did nothing wrong MK, Materazzi is the animal here, Zidane told him you can have my shirt after the game (because of all the shirt tugging), then Materazzi replied i don't need yours i have your sisters after I ****** her last night, honestly with Zidane's Algerian backround Materazzi got off easy!
04 Aug 2026 10:31:06
changingofthegvardiol
So Tchoumeni's misses was innocent in all this.
04 Aug 2026 10:34:51
If that's true Gvardiol, then Valverde is also scum and a terrible friend, but I still don't see the purpose of violence in that scenario. Just sack off the missus and move on. He's probably got a mile long line of girls in waiting!
Beef, there are definitely exceptional circumstances, I'll give you that. Maybe I was trying to simplify a nuanced situation a bit too much. I'd still rather just steer clear of the circus that surrounds Real Madrid players, If I'm honest with you. They're all a bunch of clowns.
04 Aug 2026 11:20:50
Adding 1+1 and getting 3, but I wonder if it could be one of Vitinha or Zaire Emery on the basis that they both want to play and both play in 1 position?
Either sell the finished article to give the youngster more room to grow, or vice-versa?
PSG don't need to be linked with any other midfielders, as they have other players to play there too, like Mayulu or Fernandez?
A bit of a reach, but I guess we'll see!
04 Aug 2026 12:12:29
In fairness, MK, there's that old story of Tommy Smith once t***ting Emlyn Hughes on the pitch at Maine Road.
04 Aug 2026 13:13:11
And Keegan having a scrap with Bremner (I think).
It happens. ?♂️
As long as it's dealt with and they move on quickly.
04 Aug 2026 13:28:52
The best thing about Nmecha, Davey, other than counting as HG, is that Newcastle are apparently in for him!
Their scouts do our work again!
04 Aug 2026 13:58:02
I'd personally prefer Manu Kone over Tchouameni or Camavinga.
I don't think Kone is the "ambitious marquee signing" that VG spoke about, but Kone is better than those other two.
04 Aug 2026 15:48:23
ArneSlotsBarber, then you must not know Zidane at all esp. in the early parts of his career before notoriety.
Materazzi was talking trash to Zidane, like all players do, and he said something about Zidane's sister or something. That is regular trash-talking to whind the oppo. players who are vulnerable to reaction, as Zidane wrap sheet shows.
This happens all the time in football, basketball, NFL etc.
Zidane reverted to type and head-butted him, just like he headbutted a certain Marcel Desailly in a Bordeaux vs OM game in the 93/94 season.
And there's a lot more where that came from.
