Ronald Araujo! Wow! I'mnot good with words and I don't know what to say about him, but we need whatever possessed him today to multiply and spread to the entire team. What a demon!
I think someone on here was bemoaning the loss of street footballers the other day for good reasons. I believe we just might have the last one of them, and his name is already ringing in the Kop!
They say it's too early to decide whether he stays or not, but there ain't anything early as I see it; just tie him down already. He's like Nunez and Suarez wrapped together in defense. Heart of a beast! Warrior spirit! Long may it continue!

2-0, Clean sheet, 3points vs one of the prem inform clubs YNWA.

We won that with our first half performance which was very good. We weee lucky at times though and Brighton played well second half. If felt like we just needed to get hold of the ball and keep it for a bit. Took till late on before we did it and it took the wind out of their sails.
Have to say what a nice tidy team they are. Very good well organised team, that don't mind which direction they go with the ball. Happy to keep it in tight areas and don't look to force passes if there not on.
Just hope they keep that manager and united don't come calling.
I really want conte to be united next manager. Watch them fighting with each other. Bruno must stay lol.
Actualy feel sorry for Carrick TBH he seems like an ok bloke. I thought he was going to cry in his interview.
At least the support recognised him and slated the Players.
25 Oct 2026 18:24:21
I don't understand why anybody would leave a team in the fight for a CL place for a team 1 point off the bottom. I think United will probably sack Carrick after this weekend but like you I feel sorry for him. The club is rotten and whilst I don't rate Carrick particularly highly as a manager there are much bigger problems in that club.
{Ed666's Note - They need major surgery from top to bottom. I’m not sure they’ll win anything for at least another 3 or 4 years.

Who thinks Micheal Carrick will still be in a job tonight?
Personally I think he's gone before it gets dark.
Poor sod.
What a basket case of a club. Toxic.
25 Oct 2026 18:21:36
He'll be gone tonight.
The walkabout at the end seemed very rehearsed to me.
24 Oct 2026 22:43:42
Side note but I'm really impressed by Unai Emery's commitment to making Aston Villa look like a pub team for the first month of every season then randomly popping up in the top 6 when they remember they're actually pretty good. Interesting little side quest he's got going on.
25 Oct 2026 01:58:10
Starting seasons badly while building fitness was never considered a big deal until teams racking up 90+ points became increasingly common. Man United would regularly lose 2 or 3 games in the early part of a season before going on to win the title.
Emery is the most accomplished coach in the league, and it is damn time he got the respect his achievements deserve.
25 Oct 2026 08:47:15
Still wish we got Mbaye. then our wingers would be somewhat balanced.
25 Oct 2026 12:09:53
They played well and it was a great result but they were gifted their 2 goals by Guehi and Donnarumma.
24 Oct 2026 13:04:12
Hearing that tomorrow's game could very well be called off due to the storms. A decision would need to be made early though, so Brighton supporters get enough notice to not travel.
24 Oct 2026 17:52:17
Didnt Grobbelaar run onto the pitch with an umbrella in a game once?
Lads could do the same tomorrow, no?
24 Oct 2026 22:39:28
Could we not just walk through it with our heads held up high?
23 Oct 2026 04:31:29
Still unbeaten under iraola. Its a nice feeling.
23 Oct 2026 10:54:48
Are you referring to the Champions League?
23 Oct 2026 12:18:31
OP may be referring to City being cheats Gaga.

Sometimes people can be to cryptic.

on a separate note, after seeing Bournemouth's result vs AC Milan as reflecting on the state of the game in the late 90s when I was able to watch highlights / games on TV in New Zealand.
Never in a million years would I have thought Bournemouth would be beating AC Milan in Europe.
the financial might of the Premier League is wild.
23 Oct 2026 01:54:05
I don't agree that the financial might of the prem has anything to do with Bournemouth winning. Milan's keeper got sent off at 1-0 and gave away a pen for the foul which resulted in the 2nd goal. Bournemouth looked the better team before that anyway, just a better coached team and a better run club.
I'm sure AC Milan's team has been assembled for a lot more money than Bournemouth's and they're wage bill is probably at least double of Bournemouth's also.
23 Oct 2026 02:31:27
Years and years of poor transfers, bad ownership, and wider league decline. It is frustrating more than sad because AC Milan, in my opinion, are the only club in Europe able to match Liverpool's combination of history, soul and fan fanaticism.
Transfers are so critical in football now, and when you spend fortunes on sub-standard players like Loftus-Cheek and Tomori, and in doing so help clubs like Chelsea sign better ones, you set yourself up for years of decline.
Added to the fact that club after club are fooled by the overwhelming number of ex-player bluffer managers gifted the chance to continue earning millions through the absurd pro-licensing system, the chances of a Sacchi or early-career Mourinho coming in to help an underperfoming club are almost nil now.
{Ed666's Note - my best mate is a patriotic Italian AC Milan fan I’ve not seen him this positive about his team for a few years..deluded idiot. 😃…
23 Oct 2026 04:11:10
Ed, in that case it really is sad. No AC Milan fan should be feeling anything other than outrage at how soft their club is now. That badge used to make other clubs collectively gulp - now they just rub their hands together and anticipate a comfortable win.
{Ed666's Note - I think he just wanted the previous manager gone because he was the Italian Slot. He’s just happy he gets to see some attacking intent. He’s also cognizant of the fact it’s gonna take a miracle for them to get back to their glory days anytime soon.
23 Oct 2026 05:57:47
But on the other hand. its also pleasing to see other teams becoming stronger.
AC Milan have history, a winning history, like us, but that is never enough when it comes to improving.
I'd love to see a Brighton or Bournemouth win some European competitions, and start becoming a force in European football. that however, will take time that we might not have.
23 Oct 2026 09:14:29
It's definitely not just money (you just need to look at Man United and Spurs over the last few years to see that) but what the money has done is allow the smaller clubs to build strong teams. The strength in depth in the Premier League is something that you just don't see in any other league. In most leagues, the drop in quality between the top teams and the chasing pack is like falling off a cliff but with the exception of a couple of teams anybody in the Prem can beat anybody on their day.
Whilst the top teams definitely have better teams, the main difference between a mid table club and the top clubs is that the top clubs have bigger squads that allow them to cope with injuries, suspensions and fatigue better.
24 Oct 2026 19:31:29
Drawing AC Milan in the Champions League meant you had to play your best game to even get a draw. Sad to see there decline, as that badge, as the other poster alluded to meant something.

Our women's cup game finished Liverpool 3 Manchester United 5
A really competitive fast paced match for the full 90+ minutes.
As usual we started very positively controlling possession and
looking the more likely team, but unfortunately a simple long ball
over the top 10 minutes in saw Utd's centre forward Lea Schuller
race clear to finish decisively to open the scoring.
The relatively even game looked less so after another over the
top ball saw United 2-0 ahead, 3-0 quickly followed, both just
before half time and both scored by Mared Griffiths, the 3rd from
a loose pass out from our goalkeeper giving up easy possession.
3-0 down at half time just didn't seem right, but on reflection, all
of our good play we didn't test their back-up goalkeeper until 2
efforts from just outside the box a minute from half time.
Before the game started I was questioning Gareth Taylor's team
selection, this cup offered the best opportunity for success as none
of the teams playing European competition take part, so for that
reason alone start with the strongest team,
On the bench sat Natalia Ramos, Vivien Endemann & Cornelia Kapocs
The second half started with not much between the teams, on 56 mins
Ramos replaced Fuka Nagano, again very odd, Fuka as usual was
playing well, these 2 should have been in midfield together.
72 minutes in and another gift. a really poor pass out from keeper
Khiara Keating resulted in United going 4-0 up, at this point it was a
hard watch, very little in overall play yet the score line suggested
otherwise. Credit to our girls though, heads never dropped in fact
they seemed more determined and again upped the tempo.
Kapocs who was finally subbed on @ 65 minutes showed why she
she should have been on from the start, like Endemann she's a fast
tricky winger who always looks to beat the fullback and can also
find the back of the net she scored a hat-trick in 25 minutes 🤷
Vivien Endemann was sat on the bench all night 🤷🏻🙈,
Kapocs scored her 1st well worked goal on 76 yet the very impressive
Maya Le Tissier put United 5-1 up just 2 minutes later, 2 late strikes made
the final score more respectable and was fully deserving from our overall efforts and general performance.
Evidence once again though was that any ball played high either end of
the pitch was repeatedly won by the opposition, the hat-trick scored by
Kapocs came via slick quick passing football with the ball played on the ground.
Another tough result to take but I thought the girls fought and played admirably, for 90+ minutes they never stopped running, always looking
to play, but it just wasn't to be. From my view point a disappointing result didn't reflect from what was a highly entertaining game.
Next up for the ladies is a WSL match this coming Sunday
Versus London City Lionesses.
YNWA.
