Guys we are not buying strikers unless we sell the ones we already have. Their is no interest in nunez and chiesa at out valuation.
Most of transfer activity is done and we expect to sign a CB only.
We are not going to change half the squad in a single window.
Probably only diaz on the exit route and a CB in and that concludes the summer transfer business. Ideally LFC want keep Diaz but its a bit complicated with him now.
None of these players will move to saudi in a world cup year.

In terms of the striker market im good with nunez and Fede, mad the valuations being banded out for strikers like the sporting lad.
If diaz leave wouldn't mind some frimpong type pace but even that young lad looks impressive rio.

I wouldn’t have an issue with that. We’ve done very good business early doors and addressed our issues and made improvements at fullback and in the attacking area.
A new centre back to replace and improve on Quansah would be great.
If we can sell a striker we already have, we’ll buy a new one - makes sense to me!
I wouldn’t sell Diaz personally. As that would leave us incredibly short at Centre forward as we would have two fewer strikers this season than we did last season.

So why did we bother meeting up with Inter Milan at the start of the window, to discuss and check the availability of L. Martinez? I doubt Slot will want to begin the season with only one main striker (especially considering that he deemed Nunez surplus to requirements) . Very baffling if true.

Time will tell on potential comings. Personally I think a striker will come through the door but if we go into a season with Nunez and Chiesa as our centre forward options, in a campaign which has AFCON mind. Then for me, I feel we are taking a massive risk, with a heavy emphasis on the word massive.
Salah gets the baulk of our goals and assists. He will be missing for a number of games due to AFCON and when he comes back his form usually falls off. And then to have to rely on two complete non prolific centre forwards in Nunez and Chiesa, because Diaz looks likely to leave. Well, is underwhelming to say the least. I will back any player that puts on the shirt and that will never change but let’s call a spade a spade here!

I suspect we will be bringing in a couple of strikers.
Our options last season where Nunez and Fede who are clearly not wanted by Slot, Diaz who was only used up front because Slot didn’t rate Nunez and Fede. And Jota who is sadly no longer here.
I can see us bringing someone in to replace Jota and to allow Diaz to go back on the left. Then another striker once Nunez and/ or Fede go.
Going into next season with Nunez up top is criminal in my opinion.
Saying that I said last season going into the season with Gravy as our DM was criminal and look what happened there. I’ve always supported Nunez and I wish him a happy and productive career because I really like him and want him to do well, but time is surely up? Can Slot turn his fortunes around here?

Terrible news if true, i'm certain Nunez is a terrific guy, a fantastic father and husband and does amazing charity work but he's woeful in a Liverpool shirt and after the horrific loss of Jota, we're desperate for a world class striker now more than ever.

I would be shocked if we ended this window without an additional forward with the squad, if Diaz goes. Jota and Diaz played through the center for us in the majority of the games last season, I would struggle to see Slot being happy go into the season with Nunez and Chiesa as his main options through the middle, when neither were trusted, even in games where we already had the league in the bag. It would just seem like an odd way to go when we have invested heavily to go again, including new 2 year contracts for Virgil and Mo, and arguably go into the season with a weaker team to last year. Maybe Wirtz is being brought in as a false 9 or inside forward from the left but then selling Elliot, who played some important minutes and added some positive moments over the season, would need to be replaced.

We talked about martinez its true as i said it was left to the player. We can't sign a player if he doesn't want to come.
And no LFC was not looking to replace Diaz or let me put it this way we already signed his replacement.
Striker will be signed if Nunez and chiesa can be moved but right now we are being patient and offers for either players are far below what we expect to be their fair value. Liverpool expect a good pre season for chiesa to add to our attacking options.

We’ve added some nice players but zero depth! We’ve 2 cbs I’m not counting Gomez because I’d ate me sack if he lasted the campaign and with that we are still one short!
Still no cover for salah and we are in bad need of a striker even more so we lost jota!
I still think there’s 2/ 3 more bodies coming in.
Just my thoughts.

Everyone's so defensive and easily freaked out.
Enjoy the preseason games when they come and let the club do what they do well in signing players.
It's already been a really positive window in terms of transfers.
I personally believe we'll be surprised with some players' performances over the preseason. I bet some will have something to prove and will feel like brand new players.
