Hello all,
I understand the media are saying one thing about Slot and i'm saying antoher.
However nothing has changed on my side.
Slot will still likely leave Liverpool and has held some pretty straight conversations with the clubs executives.
The dream is to wait on Xabi Alonso's future.
If 'there's a feeling that he may come available, the club will move for him.

Cheers Carra - I'm assuming you read my post so I was very interested to get your take and massively appreciate there pretty rapid response.
I think a lot of us would love Slot to turn it around after last season but there's a few that are happy for him to move on.
Gotta be honest I'm a little torn to be honest. I would like Alonso and I think he would get the work rate up and ensure we're going the right way. I also wouldn't be disappointed with Iraola either.
I guess we'll see. what happens.

So they've told Slot that it doesn't really matter what he does this season, if Alonso gets the chop at Real he's taking his job? And Slot didn't just resign there and then?

I don’t entirely get why we want Alonso. Isn’t he a 3 at the back guy? Yes, that works for our full backs, but we don’t have enough cbs to make it work.

This ties into my point regarding Slot’s reaction to the win.
Given the pressure he has been under- there was nothing
Almost as if he wasn’t engaged with what it meant
Like he knew whatever he did- it didn’t matter.

@Rojack, I don’t think anybody can predict accurately at the moment.
@Monster, you’d assume that IF Alonso were to take up the role at some point in 5h3 future and IF he wanted to play 3 at the back, as an example, then the club would look to adjust the make up of the 1st team squad accordingly.

Alonso isn't a better coach than slot - I'd understand if it was inzgahi or klopp but I'd rather trust arne.
