Bournemouth is a pile of **** now, I have lived there for years, left but weekly return at least, it has changed - downward spiral, the town centre has so many closed up shops, like many other places.
Description from locals is that the place is more like a war zone, maybe that's why his wife can't settle.
Rumours the other day suggested he was going to Mancs, I know ppl here would like him, maybe Spain is on his radar.

Bournemouth no different to any other city or town, mate. Boarded up shops, pubs, and restaurants; just charity shops and nail bars abound on high streets across the country.

There was an interview with some Ethiopian refugee's who had been housed in Bournmouth, who said they wanted to go home as it was safer (despite years of civil war).
Bournmouth has been in decline for 2 decades.
