Hi Diddly Ho,
Would just like to remind the news that I shared back in September that Guardiola is going to step down at the end of the season.
Nothing has changed as far as I’m aware.
Not sure of any candidates to replace him but when I got told about it in September, Maresca was a serious candidate - even whilst at Chelsea.
Sadly no Liverpool updates recently, sorry.

I hope Maresca does succeed Pep. I think it's reasonably well proved that when these great managers leave it's very difficult for the club to maintain the same momentum. I don't rate Maresca that much to be honest but again, with a lack of "big name' coaches you are having to take a chance on someone else.
Interesting times ahead in the PL. It might just suit Arteta and the Gunners.

Can see Kompany to City, but he could be wise to stay at Munich until all the charges are sorted (so maybe 5-10 years). In terms of Liverpool, does anyone know if we are making progress on the lad from Red Bull? Papers are saying we have held talks, but the price seems ridiculous.

Don't see Pep stepping down, makes no sense. He will see out one last season to best Fergie's title record before he leaves. Not an ITK or pretend ITK, just my opinion, so punches of salt.
