@Raceylfc, FSG won't get rid of him after previously winning the PL.
They would only make a move if the club is affected financially, ie dropping attendance. A few boos around the ground won't force their hand, imo.

FSG should get rid of him regardless of winning the PL, this season & the tail end of last one has been absolutely awful.
A huge majority of fans want him gone, in fact, if anyone wants him to stay - what are they seeing we can’t. A good coach faces adversity & finds a way. Slot certainly hasn’t, we’ve been getting worse, not better. He’s completely collapsed a winning team & their mentality.
Showed zero tactical acumen this season, has no connection with the fans, clears off abroad at every opportunity.
Results have been poor, performances have been terrible, breaking multiple records in a truly awful season that we have been extremely lucky to get CL because others have been poor.

As much as I don't want this to be true.....
I can see it happening, players leaving, potential reports on players leaving, the assistant he wanted leaving his job with links to us.
Maybe the board see it as a full changing of guard from the Klopp ways and into another era, ship out the trouble causes (not that I think they are).
Just sense he stays, My God I hope I'm wrong.

This has all the hallmarks of Rodgers in 14/15.
Getting battered away from home at the end of the season by a team from the midlands. Check.
Successful season followed by abject dross. Check.
Being knocked out of the Champions League in a feeble & pathetic manner. Check.
Coach who has no clue on how to organise a defence & midfield. Check.
Just about scraping 60 points and haemorrhaging goals. Check.
Normalising not winning at Anfield.
Check.
Coach throwing everyone under the bus to protect his own position. Check.
Some random being brought in as assist coach. Check.
An impending mediocre transfer window (the dross we're looking at including Dumfries, Koopmeiners, Nusa)!.
Slot might well survive the summer, but he won't make it past November. We'll have all the same issues as this season as Slot neither has the minerals to sort it out nor will we bring in the right personnel.

Last year we could have won the league, the Champions League, the FA Cup, the League Cup, the FA Trophy, Community Shield, the Best Pies Cup, even the Eurovision Song Contest, but that doesn't mean Slot should stay now the way we have been performing this year.

A bit dramatic that, Tobi. The club will always invite decent players, and as much as things aren't good, there are loads of exaggerations floating about. We're not even at the end of the season yet, and people are crying and moaning. Patience is a virtue (or so they say). If they bring in another Hodgson, then we'll all spew up, but regardless of their faults, they brought in a manager who added another league trophy, so they deserve some credit, regardless of "it was Klopp's team" shabite that lingered about.
New start, new manager - let's just look ahead, and this season will be forgotten about if they get it right.

Yeah, Faith, anybody who's genuine usually has no issue giving us at least a general idea of how they come across info. But there are a few who just share opinions or copy and paste without citing because they like to be seen as being ITK. I'm not familiar with ThomoLFC; forgive me if I'm wrong, but he seems new to the site, at least as an ITK.
Most newbies/ITKs usually introduce themselves and give a little background info for context. He's had no problem responding with opinions but ignores questions about sources. Even if he were a little wary of giving a backstory, it's a little strange that he ignores the question entirely. Not even a simple "Someone I work with who's close to the club."

@ThomoLFC, I don't have any proof it will happen, but in my opinion the sun will almost definitely rise tomorrow morning, and going out on a limb, it'll probably do the same the day after. That's guess work based on empirical evidence gathered over 60 odd years.

My opinion, is the only way Slot stays is if the managers we've identified are not available or not ready to join us.
I know we had a manager ready made for us in Alonso, but if he wasn't willing to work within the current structure of the club or LFC weren't willing to change it, then he was never going to be chosen.
But like I said above, no offense to any who post us information, but I think we aren't going to know anything until after the Brentford game.
Personally, if Slot is unsettled/unhappy in England and the squad have turned against him, then it's madness that he chooses to stay even if the club do want to keep him. That is down to pride/ego, call it what you want.

I keep seeing the comments about Slot jetting off home at every opportunity - whilst I agree that his time is up, how do we know he really does this? Is someone on airport watch every day to check his comings and goings, or are we just perpetuating something and ITK said a few months ago? I know it's a rumours site, but the number of ITKs now with contradicting info suggests they are as ITK as the rest of us.

Unfortunately Johnny, there is photographic evidence of Slot's disappearing acts, both at airports and when he's buggered off to London for a few days. The rumours this week are that he gave the players 4 days off after the Villa debacle, which he went off to sun himself in Ibiza and a number of the players went off to Monte Carlo for an end of season party.
It does seem that he's running a social club/pub side and not a football club.

I'm with Jonny on this. If half of what is being reported is true regarding Slot's supposed time-off, it seems inconceivable that the owners would sanction it. The only way, possibly, is if he and they know that he is leaving, and sacking him, at this stage, is more trouble than it's worth?

FSG won't get rid unless they are 100% sure that they can get their managerial target, on their terms, at the right time. Carra alluded to the fact that the decision makers need to eat some humble pie before they bullet Slot. There is more upside for them as professionals if they can keep Slot, have a successful summer and win something next year, despite this being pie in the sky to us fans, that can see that it's all falling apart.
Whatever happens, there needs to be changes and our start to the season needs to be convincing.
