SiSenor. From my perspective, I don't think Sarr will happen, but it looks like the club are panicking. So I wouldn't rule it out.
Shipley, a bit of both. There have been a few bits about Wharton, Camarra, Kone, Scott, Stiller. Nothing concrete tho and I would probably rule Scott and Wharton as they are big deals to complete and we take months it seems to conclude those types of deals.
Alonso, I agree mate. Total shambles and I think that's down to the whole not getting rid of Slot and Edwards sooner. Plus the STC essentially being on gardening leave most of the summer before his move. Should have dumped them all, as soon as the season was over imo.

£50m for Sarr?? 28 years old... we knew Salah was leaving for 9 months and even if Diomande was a priority it's been clear since early July that he was off the table... spend all summer chasing a player for over £100m for the opposite side... Wow, take a bow, Richard Hughes.

Many of us said it at the time fields, about getting rid of Hughes the minute we knew he was leaving anyway.
FSG are amazingly successful hedge funders, but they seem to get as much wrong as any normal business people would when it comes to appointing and getting rid of football operations staff.

You wonder if there is internal fighting behind the scenes. I'm certain Iraola has a vision and wants some control over transfers, especially after last season's fiasco. Hughes is pivoting from one player to the next. Could we make it any more obvious that we are desperate and we have left it too late in the transfer window to get "value for money".
How many times have we quibbled over paying over the odds, only for another club to pay up and steal a transfer from under our noses...
