Just a hypothetical question.
Giving the opportunity, would you rather have Bellingham or McAllister and Szoboszlai?
Kindly ignore the financial aspects.
Eds please I would also love to hear your opinions.

Considering we needed a whole new midfield I’d say the two players were more needed than the one. And luckily they’re both top drawer as well.

Szob is a real talent and hope to see mac in his normal position soon before I judge but he's done OK. 2 for 1 obviously, however Bellingham is class and even stevie g said he was a better player than him at his age. Tough call. if we only needed 1 its Bellingham without a doubt. But as I said szob has HUGE potential too.

Nigerred nah, we got the ones we actually needed and the right fit for us. Would Bellingham be the right fit? I guess we will never know and frankly, not interested in trying to know right now.

Regardless of Bellingham not wanting to come to us anyway, we definitely needed more than just the one new players. Maybe Macca and Dom were higher risks but for roughly the same price and probably far lower wages I think we’ve got it right.

Magico1234, Gerard also said that Joe Cole was on Messi levels when he signed for us (for the disaster we would all witness) so quoting SG doesn't mean much to me, personally.
IMO, Szobo is who we need right now. As to who is better? Not bothered cos we will never know how Jude would have faired in an LFC shirt so no point in comparing the two, IMO. Szobo is getting it done and that is what matters. Just my take.

We needed more than one, I don’t think there was any risk with Mac Allister, World Cup winning midfielder who has consistently been brilliant for Brighton and I think Szobo was probably lower risk than Bellingham, price and relative perception in the media took the pressure off of him as most in the press weren’t aware of him. Whereas Bellingham would have to live up to the price tag and being England’s big star every week any failure would be absolutely under the microscope. I think everyone got the right move out of this.

Gakpo should have played the ball into the net. Just put the ball into the net first then what deliberation can happen afterwards.

Westwood666 going by the Leicester cup game, I wouldn't agree with you on Endo. I really think there's a player in there. I love how he keeps it simple and ticking. He is also not afraid to put in the tackle when necessary. If he continues that way then we have got ourselves a bargain.

And did we not sell Fabinho for 40m and are reportedly buying Endo for about 16m?
I wonder why people keep saying it makes no sense at all.
