They got 100 minutes and a penalty that wasn't, something seems really off with them as a group. From their starting 11 yesterday id probably only take Haaland as a starter with Gvardiol and Marmoush for the bench.

I said it before and will say again - Halaand is a freak of a goal scorer but a terrible footballer otherwise.
Doku is no more than a show pony - if I was forming the football version of the Globetrotters he would be my first call.
I would take Gvardiol for sure.

He is a sore loser pep mostly, but if we are being fair he had reason to moan yesterday. We are quick enough to call them cheats if that would have been the city keeper handling outside the area and var not picking it up we would saying everyone has been bought. I’m made up though that it will rankle with them. We can’t call them cheats and not recognise when they have been wronged no matter how funny and satisfying it is.

My best gaffers when I played taught sportsmanship! The kids that did no learn that valuable "life" lesson were off to other leagues soon after if not. Too bad Pep is s poor loser just like the Greatest one.

Nothing VAR could do John. It wasn’t a penalty ibecause it was outside the box. Haaland was heading away from goal and there was a covering defender. It was a free kick outside the box. VaAR can’t give that and the ref missed it. Sh#t happens ?♂️.

It's a shame that VAR are so bogged down with their own rules, a goalscoring opportunity in this case is subjective and surely the referee has the best view in real time so he should have made the final call once the facts were established if this is how it played out then fair enough, either way it should have been a free kick to City minimum but again the VAR rules can't enforce that. In many ways the penalty that wasn't evened out an afternoon of poor VAR and I for one am glad for palace (1 unintentional indiscretion over 115) their fans bouncing all afternoon was a joy to watch.

Haaland is a great footballer. Just ruined by pep’s prolific system that makes him stay in the 18 yard box all game waiting for crosses. City are seriously going to have to evolve their playing style now De Bruyne won’t be there and I’m glad because the boring possession football has finally been found out and plaudits have rightfully gone to Barcelona and psg this season for trying to play the right way.

It’s a stupid rule that says it’s not a goal scoring opportunity if the player is heading away from goal.
For every goal scored when a player rounds a keeper at a certain point of rounding the keeper they are heading away from the goal.
If Haaland goes past Henderson there there then regardless of his body shape when the keeper touches it the truth is he’s in his stride with an empty net.
No he’s not guaranteed to score but how can it be said that it’s not a goal scoring opportunity is beyond me.
Massive credit to Palace though and great to see their fans living in the moment.

For time wasting standards that was one of the most tame attempts to time waste. The keeper got booked for having a quick drink at a goalkick, you'll see more time wasted in every game, and no warning given by the officials. Then the way they erupted on the bench when palaces centre half went off, likely due to concussion was another example of how bad they are with sportsmanship. The game was stopped due to a VAR check so no time was wasted. Managers like pep and arteta to me are just fake and all for show with their antics, can't stand them.
You had diaz sulking like a baby last week as Southampton made no effort to win a team who has barely won a game this season not trying to match up with the biggest cheats going who would have guessed what Southampton game plan would have been before the game.

Other players yes I get it, I mean, I have real wish for us to sign (never happen), Pedri (what a player), Yamal I watched from his first appearance (very interesting that he is Left footed on right wing, same as Messi started, similar style to Messi, Messi held Yamal as a baby) . Another is Cardoso? CDM Barca, Barcelona B capt, him and Grav in centre would be wow imo.

What's Pep crying about time-wasting? His team does it all the time. In fact last season at Anfield, they were time wasting already in the middle of the first half after they took the lead. Typical case of "Can dish it out but can't take it".

Considering how they took so many trophies away from Klopp in an unfair manner I find what happened to City yesterday to be hysterically funny karma.
And Guardiola's behavior towards Henderson at the end of a match of that magnitude speaks volumes about his character and that of his team. Shameful and disgraceful. There's little enough sportsmanship left in the game without behaving like that at an FA Cup final.
Damned sure you wouldn't find Klopp or Slot behaving like that.
