Dont like this elliott interview.
When has he ever produced performance that makes him undroppable?
Runs to the flanks and passes sideways.
Had a horrible game against plymouth and gave the penalty away and that loss nearly damned our season. Useless against chelsea. Had a goal against psg and that's that.
What is he on about? Wasting years? He won't start for fulham today.

I never interrupted it in the way you've done. It came across as very respectful towards the club and manager. He spoke about his own career. Elliot is a fantastic player. He needs to play regular football. Brighton would be a great move but I'd want a buy back clause. When elliots in full flow he's a top player. He needs the game time to become his best.

Same. I thought Elliott was very respectful to the club. Just kind of said he has a decision to make really. Never said he should be starting or anything.
He got asked a question And he answered it.
I also think he doesn't pass sideways all the time. He passes forward plenty.

Elliott is not a fantastic player.
He's too small, slow and doesn't have the ability to be top drawer.
He might have a decent PL career but that's it.

he was very respectful and imo you're just over reacting to what he said. Almost in a dictator kinda way lol
He just said what is the truth. He would probably stay and fight from the bench. But if the manager doesn't believe or trust him to give him minutes, then doesn't strictly speaking mean it is because he is talented or good enough. Managers can form their own views of specific players to their benefit or detriment. Mo Salah anyone?
I get the sense that Harvey would stay if he felt like he would get opportunities to prove himself. I don't think he is so self-righteous to throw a tantrum because he isn't starting 'x' amount of games. But for sure he deserves to play far more than he did last term and if he got those opportunities he would be a great player to keep in the squad.

Elliott has played well plenty of times this year, you're remembering him for a terrible team performance against Plymouth when slot dropped him in a totally disjointed lineup that has never played together and a Chelsea game where the title was already won and everybody looked off colour.

I have a real problem with Elliott. He’s such a good lad and obviously loves the club but he just isn’t good enough.
Every time he plays I’m hoping he can get going but he’s just never involved enough other than a few moments here and there.
Worse than that is his defensive game. He can’t tackle, won’t compete for the ball, doesn’t track runners, ball watches constantly, doesn’t anticipate danger and gets bullied in any challenge he goes in for.
I really wish he was good enough because I really like him but he just isn’t good enough at this level. For the sake of his own career he needs a move.

Elliott not physical enough and doesn't work like a midfielder should. Too slow for a forward. He's a 10 at best and we have better in that position. Needs to be moved on. No buy back. Maybe a sell on clause.

Yeah, good player and an LFC fan but too slow to play anywhere but 10 and he's about to be way down the pecking order.

To me he is this generations Danny Murphy.

'He's too small'
Rigsby, good god mate you do speak some nonsense. what has his height got to do with it? ?.
