Is there a world in which we play Darwin on the left if Diaz leaves? He always looked more comfortable out wide before he joined us (to me anyway) . I’ve always appreciated his effort and know there’s a player in there. Not sure big Arne is convinced though.

Nunez was awful on the left, headless chicken comes to mind.
The problem with Nunez is he is the type of forward that suits a quick ball in behind…. only thing is his finishing is too inconsistent and his timing of runs is not good enough. He suits a quick counter attacking team, and I just cannot see him either being an important player under slot.

Klopp always said Nunez is an incredible finisher in training, I think i remember him scoring 4 in maybe his first friendly? Its composure he lacks at premier league level its the kind of thing that can't really be taught. It's ok scoring against Preston and Stoke but it has to carry over to the premier league which more often than not it doesn't.

Jr_1977, we already did that under Klopp. It didn't work and even he admitted it and never did it again. On the contrary, there is a player there as we have all seen however, his problem is what goes on in his head which affects his decision-making terribly.
Mate, we tried with Darwin 3 years as I believed he eaned that time and some of his goals were very pivotal to the trophies we won during his time here including the PL title. Alas overall, iIt didn't work. If he goes? He goes. If we can't move him then, he will have to stay. It is what it is.
