Let’s worry about Liverpool Arsenal will engineer their own demise AGAIN! A win is a must today, it won’t be easy but I’m going 2-1 the reds Isak to score.

3-1 I’m fancying mate but I wouldn’t be surprised if Utd park the bus and frustrate out of us to a 0-0 or 1-1 draw.
International breaks usually ruin our flow but we were awful going into the break so that shouldn’t affect the team.

I think you are a little delusional of you think Arsenal will enguineer their own downfall mate. They have dramatically improved their squad, and now have quality cover all over the pitch. They have the best squad in the league. They are solid and hard to score against. They look the real deal now and will not loose more than 2 or 3 more games in the league this season. Liverpool are so far behind them right now its scary. There are major issues for us at present and Slot has to work magic before we are to far off the top to challenge. I hate to say it but if Mac amd Salah start today we are not going to win. I fear United park the bus and win 1-0. Arsenal are lookong the business and if they go from 5 points behind to 4 points ahead in just 3 games its not looking good for us.

Clean slate for everyone today after the break.
Mamardashvili, Kerkez, VVD, Konate (if fully fit), Bradley, Grav, Szoboszlai, Wirtz, Gakpo, Isak, Salah.
Grav sitting deep, Szoboszlai the engine room, Wirtz the playmaker, Kerkez and Bradley on the overlap to give Gakpo and Salah room to cut inside.

Yes Kimu I agree. Arsenal have been mighty close to winning the League the last few years. More a case of fine margins, than engineering their own demise again.

Liverpool are not behind Arsenal. They have a bigger squad but they’ve not improved their first 11 from last year.
We have vastly improved the first 11 and have the best team in the league even if the squad isn’t as big as Arsenal’s (but other than Chelsea nobody’s squad is) .
From their first 11 I’d take 2 players at a push in our first 11 and even that is arguable. They struggle to create chances in open play and rely on clean sheets and set pieces. Thats’s great when it works but it won’t work every week and they’ll drop points because of it.

Who would you take Robbo? I'd say Timber at RB and Saliba to partner VVD. Special mentions for Rice and Saka.
Arsenal are now the favourites let's see how it affects them. Fulham didn't do too bad at all yesterday, on another day they could have got a result, Josh King looks very good for an 18 year old.

Arsenal favourites? with city 2nd and looming? My money would be on citeh.

Man U always up there game against us. It’s going to be no easy game today that’s for sure.

I can see why Fulham decided against buying another striker to keep the pathway clear for Josh King. He has been really good this season.
And Arsenal have a more than decent team. They're currently first for a reason. From their team, I'd definitely go for Saliba, Saka, and Rice. Maybe Ode and Raya for the squad too.
19 Oct 2025 13:12:25
They’ve got a proper CF. Is that not an improvement?
19 Oct 2025 14:16:53
I'd take all of their back 4 and without doubt I'd take Declan Rice.
19 Oct 2025 14:46:52
They don't have a better squad than us but they have a settled team and a settled back four, which makes a world of difference in keeping things tight at the back.
They also have big problems creating from open play though, are you going to tell me they are going to keep scoring 2/ 3 of their goals from set pieces for 30 games? That's simply not sustainable. Another saka injury for any amount of time and they would really really struggle I feel.
As far as players I'd take from them, I have to say timber is a very good player who can play any defensive position it seems. Besides him I would prefer to have our players in every other position.

I would take Saliba all day every day over Konate Patrick, Gabriel too.

I watched the Fulham v Arsenal and to be honest they look no different than last season. Same falling on the floor as soon as opposition come any were near them. Saka worst for it, but does not need to has the talent to stay on his feet . Again free kicks and corners is their most productive and keeper taking free kicks from in side his half just like Stoke. Arteta tactics.

Agreed Arne.

yep sake become a master diver all over the pitch sad as the lad can play. Nobody scores goals prolifically in this arsenal side. Thought they were a hard watch last season but another level of dull this year.
