A hypothetical…
You can take one player from another Premier League club to instantly improve our current squad. Only caveat is, it has to be unrealistic / unobtainable. Not a Guehi or Semenyo etc.
Given that I think our weakest position currently is lack of pace on the wing, and with one eye on the future, my unobtainable choice would be Bukayo Saka
Who would you pick?

Caicedo is a generational destroyer with some added x-factor. Id have him over Grav in a heartbeat. Grav is world class on his day, but also his form is well patchy.

With Isak, Ekitike and wirtz signings, I am not so sure that wingers and traditional front three is suited to this squad of players. Having said that I do think if we could sign a Semenyo type, Rice and a cb would transform this team imagine the following next year in a 4231 akin to Benitez

Gravenberch a far better footballer for me than Caicedo. don't see the hype personally, always said i thought Lavia was a better footballer. If we bought Caicedo we'd find plenty of his game to moan about. Rice is far better than Caicedo, so is Szobozlai.
{Ed025's Note - Grav is on the list but hes bottom of that 4 FM, not much between Slob and Caicedo but then there is a gigantic gap until you reach Rice mate, but wearing tinted glasses is not a crime.. :)

Ed25, you better pray that the Pep's former coneman doesn't ruin Rice by playing him into the abyss while clearly carrying an injury or being exhaused. otherwise, Rice will end up WAY down the pecking order.

Grav better than Caicedo? Behave.
Caicedo is the best DM in the world today. He is an absolute monster.
Grav was exceptional until Christmas last season. Since then he's been just ok and the way opposition are happy to give him space tells you a lot about his passing range. We can definitely upgrade this position.
{Ed025's Note - Caicedo is decent FPF...but hes not Rice mate..

When, as in Caicedo's case your most valuable trait is"getting stuck in"in a game where your no longer able to make a tackle i don't really see what you do.
A good player but when i see Grav turn and glide by two or three opponents that's what i want to see not someone run around a bit and do the simple pass to the actual real footballers.

I think rice is a bit plain to cumin to the squad. Wouldn't bet against it in case he do.
