In other news.
I quite like that new home kit.
Won't be buying it though.

19 May 2026 17:34:19
No one over 25 should ever buy a new kit n wear it, especially a full one, they're called full kit Starmers by ours.

19 May 2026 17:44:31
I got a replica retro 1989 kit from the Club shop in Oslo a few weeks back when I was in Norway.

That'll do me for kits for the next while.

19 May 2026 17:49:00
Every Liverpool supporter that isn't a season ticket holder should buy a new jersey every year. If you support the club, but are not willing to spend money then you have no right to give out bout the signings that are made or the lack of investment by the owners! We can't just take from the club, we should invest also if possible.

{Ed025's Note - what a load of rubbish, what about if you are not on much money or not working at all...does that mean you cannot support your club? i have heard some crap on here JimJim but that takes the biscuit mate..

19 May 2026 17:54:02
I think it's poxy, it's dark red, it's not the red we wear!!

19 May 2026 17:55:23
Jim, I get at least two shirts every season. Got three this year, love the green one, but I will not get a new one till Slot is gone.

{Ed025's Note - if anyone needs a new shirt get a jarg one off the internet for £12 i say, im sure if you do that the owners will still be eating turkey this Christmas..

19 May 2026 17:59:46
Jimjim. ???

19 May 2026 18:00:35
No thanks, Jimjim. I have better things to spend £85 (minimum) on than a t shirt I'll never wear.
Paying approx £40 a month and still not getting 3pm games is enough for me.

19 May 2026 18:02:07
I hear you, grino 75. I totally get that! I get a new one every year, I just feel we really should spend some money on the thing we're passionate about if we can, but I know a lot don't.

19 May 2026 18:13:15
Yea, but No. 8, pal, you're paying in. I'm talking people that only stream games and never go who bitch and moan about the owners.

19 May 2026 18:15:29
Must be local. Are you, Jimjim? I spend enough between tickets, hotels and flights for me and a gang of kids, everything I wanna get to a game. I spend enough on the club, thanks.

19 May 2026 18:23:00
JimJim, I never buy a shirt because I would never wear it when I go to a game, the pub, around town, etc.

However, I'm not tight, so as you obviously have the privilege of a season ticket then let's go halves on the cons 'n games. Then I will be a contributor just like the platinum level supporter you are.

19 May 2026 18:25:26
I have a season ticket which I share with my bro, I won't be buying another piece of merchandise until that bald fraud is given his marching orders.

19 May 2026 18:39:45
So the global institution with a worldwide fan base of adoring fans should buy shirts because otherwise they aren't 'real' fans, regardless of their financial positions, which you have no idea about, in a world going mad currently?

With respect, think a bit before you post, Jim Jim.

A person's proximity to the city the club is based in, or financial clout to buy tickets or shirts, does not make those people a superior supporter or fan than anyone else, and all are entitled to an opinion whether they purchase merchandise or not.

19 May 2026 18:47:45
Just spoke to Hogan, it's socks and shorts as well, lads, if we want some signings.

19 May 2026 18:58:09
I'll be able to get a good fake for £25 - that'll do me. Never in a million years am I paying £85 for a T shirt.

19 May 2026 18:59:38
Stupid question... Does the club actually make any money from the shirt sales?

I thought that the club made its cash from the kit deal with Adidas... and Adidas make the money from the shirt sales...

19 May 2026 19:01:46
My apologies, and obviously, people didn't read what I said! My point was that if we can, we should all spend money on the club! I never once mentioned real supporters. That's an awful statement! I think we're a stronger club if we all chip in, and it's only aimed at people that spend nothing every year! If you spend any money to watch the team, then you're great fans, and I think the world of yis! My bad, so sorry.

19 May 2026 19:05:59
We can't all afford to buy shirts and tickets to the games, am afraid.

19 May 2026 19:17:17
Jim Jim, who on earth are you to tell supporters of our club what they should spend their money on? Give your head a very long wobble, lad. Don't tell me how to support my club.

YNWA.

19 May 2026 19:21:02
I bought the Isak shirt before this season started and it's been injured ever since.

19 May 2026 19:21:02
Jim Jim, even your last post doesn't read well to me either, the - If you don't spend money bit, shocking, as others above have pointed out, maybe just maybe lots & lots of ppl are hand to mouth, but love the club, either close to the ground or even around the world.

It doesn't make them less a fan, if you love LFC then you're a fan. Only one thing I would have loved, being part of the generation after generation ground goers, alas I am not.

By the way, Charles (not my king), is robbing everyone of us.

19 May 2026 19:26:38
How about paying for a membership for me and my three boys and getting f all in the members ballot. Does that make me worthy, JimJim. If not, let me know how I can purchase a season ticket and I'll rectify my insulting behaviour.

19 May 2026 19:31:48
Weird, Chrisy, that you think it's ok to tell me what to do, but you're annoyed by me saying what I think fans should do! Double standards there, my friend.

19 May 2026 19:36:14
Not a stupid question at all, JLC, entirely valid. And yes the club only makes royalties on the jersey sales, Adidas makes the lion's share of the profit, that's exactly why FSG opened some 20 club stores and push merch online, as the retailer they can massively increase their profit.

Jimjim, wind your neck in mate. Many many fans spend little to nothing on merch or tv packages because they simply can't afford to, not everyone is comfortable enough to afford £85+ on a single shirt. There's people out here struggling to keep the lights on mate. Get a grip of yourself.

19 May 2026 19:46:06
Hey, there is no need to bring King Charles into this. ??

19 May 2026 20:07:56
Ah Chewy, not you as well, pal. I'm your biggest fan! I said multiply times, if you can. Nothing is aimed at people who are struggling, of course not, but those who can.

19 May 2026 18:32:04
Ed 025 I said if possible sir! I feel spending on your team is what all fans should do especially those of us that are over seas and don't get to games I guess you have other ideas sorry I triggered you sir I'm your biggest fan your a great man n I appreciate all your input x

{Ed025's Note - i meant nothing personal JimJim, but a lot of people here are on the breadline mate and are choosing between heating and eating never mind spending a fortune on kits, i have never held any store by the theory that you are not a proper supporter if you dont go to the games or buy the merchandise or even subscribe to tv packages, its about affordability and who cares if these fat cats dont make another billion this year...certainly not me..

19 May 2026 20:32:36
Gtf. What next, you be saying fans who don't spend money go to the back of the queue on parades.
