Firstly, I would like to apologise. I had passed on info that I was assured was correct, but turned out completely wrong.
The person I can't name, holds a fairly senior role within the club and advised me that the sacking of Slot was a shock to some, including them. They had been advised he was staying.
It seems whoever Carra & TheFields have connection with didn't give everything away internally.
So, I will hold up my hands and say sorry.
I won't be sharing "insights" anymore as clearly I have been mislead and don't wish to do that to you lot.
I will say, I would love to see either Milly or Thiago join the coaching staff for the coming season. And although unlikely Heitinga was highly thought of by the playing staff and would be happy with him rejoining.
Let's hope we can all stick together going forward and next season is a successful one.

The website is rumours, not facts. Can't see the point of giving someone pelters for a rumour that doesn't come to pass. As far as it goes, almost every journalist and his dog was insisting Slot was not going to be sacked. So, it sounds like the club were going to Vladislav Surkov levels of misinformation to various sources.

@Johnny, you have nothing to apologize for and to me, you didn't do a damn thing to me personally with the info you provided not panning out. This is a rumours site where people share their info, opinions on said info and sometimes it pans out and other times, it doesn't. It is what it is.
Keep doing your thing and keep sharing your info, regardless of what the source is. It adds a lot to the discussion and your opinions as well, are still more than welcome, mate. There are more important things going on in this world than someone not getting something right. Peace and Love, man.
