Ed025 one of the first games I've watched properly and England totally awful.
I am lost to what people see in Bellingham every time I watch him he does nothing.
Harry Kane can't play upfront on his own without runners he walks round the pitch like it's over 55s walking football.
{Ed025's Note - to be fair Grino Jude had a decent game for me, unlucky with a couple of chances but gave his all imo mate, Kane is excellent and those who dont think so know very little about Football for me..

Grino75, To me it just sounds like you're criticizing Kane for its own sake. Kane is an absolutely world class player, and England's current best by a million miles. Regardless, please tell me one striker that can play up front, on his own, without runners? I'll give you a prime R9, but no one else.

Grino, I'm sorry but Kane is absolute class, no debate around it. Jude is a good player and he was part of the goals and had man of the match in the 2 previous games, so I'd say you are off it on both counts, mate. Apart from that, great post!

As much as I think Kane moves like a cart horse, there's absolutely no denying that second goal was a worldie. He had the strength to hold the defender off and make enough space to hit that. That's not an easy skill by any stretch of the imagination.

I think the way Bellingham drifts in and out of positions that 10s never usually do, on his own initiative, is really lost on people.
And, bar maybe Haaland, I don't think there's another 9 in the world who could score Kane's second goal.

Kane is like Haaland. They both seem crap at football 99% of the time but then bang in 2 goals to win the game.
As the aim of the game is to put the round thing in the onion bag that makes them both world class.

Grino, Kane is world class. No one England comes anywhere near him in that CF position. That is just a fact.
As for his second goal, I don't see that as a worldie from Kane. Honestly, I have seen him score way better goals that that. That is just a testament to the level he is in terms of finishing. Absolutely world class CF, imo.

Don't agree on the Jude chances Ed025, I personally thought they were both quite poor headers that gave the keeper a chance.
England were lucky last night - it's easier to forget after the game but that absolute sitter for Wissa at 1-0 changes the game. They score that and England are toast.
They turn up at the Azteca and play like that they are going to get a hiding.
{Ed025's Note - the thing is Wassa that he at least got in the positions to score which could not be said of the others mate, Mexico will suit England down to the ground as they will make the running and we prefer to play on the counter, the big thing will be stamina at that altitude and of course that very weak defence..

Ed0025 I know Kane is world class on the ball shooting passing all top class but he can't run because he is Fu**ed too many injuries at spurs and rushed back too soon. My point on Kane is he would be better with a strike partner like Shearer and and Teddy Lineker and Beardsley.
But as for Bellingham Ed I just don't see the player everyone talks about he might have got the player of the match in 2 games but let's see what he does against Mexico because we have played pretty average teams up to now.
{Ed025's Note - im not Judes biggest fan either Grino but i think he has been one of our better players myself, Harry is excellent though mate and without him we would be home by now, Mexico will be a tough opponent and the conditions will find a few of our team out but they might just suit our counter i feel..

"England were lucky" - They absolutely weren't. DR Congo have had a World Cup to be proud of, but 2-1 flattered them greatly - 6-2 would have been a more accurate representation of the game. I know it's trendy to disparage England, but I want them to win everything just like Liverpool.

People who knock Harry Kane are either trolls or know very little about football, it's not worth the debate. Jude has been good as well, but otherwise England have been pretty poor.
I haven't been impressed yet with either Anderson or Rice, both of which have had good seasons for their clubs, and the rest of the team are fairly average tbh.

Why do so many underrate Kane so badly? Leaving aside the fact he has an incredible passing range, is pretty good defensively, and is very consistent, this dude was competing with Salah for golden boots... At Spurs!
Kane improves every team he plays in and the players around him.

I don't like Kane because he dives in the penalty area too much and he claims others' goals if it brushes his boot lace on the way to the net.
He's a good player in the right team, no doubt about it.

In my opinion, Kane's an instinctive finisher and a top notch 'goal hanger', but he's an average football player.
Haaland and Kane are 'much of a muchness' and are currently the best in the world at what they do, but neither is any great shakes as a footballer.

England where better when Gordon was on the pitch ED025, it helped Kane massively actually having someone use his pace and the lad runs himself into the ground for the team.
If saka is fit enough now he needs to play him and Gordon we look a better team with both of them on the pitch
{Ed025's Note - i would sooner have Gordon than Madueke or Rashford Kloppers, they never go on the outside and always cut in and play it backwards, and to be fair Saka has not been much better mate..

You make a good point, LoweLFC. As much as I wanted DR Congo to win, England, in terms of chances created, should have won that game going away, even tho they were poor for the most part in actual play.
