Is anyone concerned about the perceived lack of movement? Maybe I shouldn't be but we have obvious holes that need to be filled. I have to believe that there is a lot of work being done behind the scenes.

Nope, not one bit. We have a new manager who wants to assess the full squad, and there's a World Cup on. Oh, and we have bought a player already, and have another joining whose purchase was agreed in Jan.

I'd use Elliott as RW. He's as good, if not better, than all the £100m players we're linked to.

How long does it take a new manager to assess his squad as a collective?
Only asking, as the full squad aren’t back in until end of July, start of August. Is it a few weeks or a month plus?
Because, either way, it either leaves the club scrambling with a couple of weeks to go or the window actually closed.

Plenty of time yet, just over a week till WC is over, that still leaves 6 weeks until the window closes. But I would say we need to improve the squad massively to stand a chance of competing. Arsenal miles ahead of us at the moment.
City and, dare say it, Spurs probably have a better squad. Not all of them are the same levels as our top players, but they have far more strength in depth than us and no European football to play.

Ibiza, I would doubt if Spurs squad is anywhere near ours. Yes, they have bought a couple of half decent players, but their squad lacks any real quality. I am not worried about 115 either or Arsenal for that matter.
We need a proper pre season and get some miles in the legs. Even with limited additions, I still think the squad is equipped to challenge. We have a very good first team squad. Just need the new man to get a performance out of them.

Not so much the lack of movement.
More the uncertainty of who we're signing now. I mean it's always uncertain, but particularly in attack, it feels like a bit of a lolly scramble at the minute.
At least based of ITs, rumours etc.

Some ITKs say we're still signing Diomande. So, we're obviously waiting for Ivory Coast to get knocked out of the World Cup.
