Thoughts …. I don’t think Liverpool will sign more than 2 players max and Barcola being 1 of them.
I don’t think they will get a right back in or midfielder (if Macca allegedly wants to leave), as Harvey and Nyoni would be considered.
So historically LFC have left the manager short on defenders. I remember that awful Ben Davies an o an Kabak debacle in those late Jan transfers which didn’t pan out, so Liverpool are for me known to leaving the manager extremely short.
I personally don’t believe any transfers are coming in bar Barcola.
But I just wonder if we have enough to cover for the first few games at the back until Jaquet and Leoni are fit enough?

Liverpool want a winger, Cb, right back cover and a midfielder, possibly 2 depending on departures.
Once Barcola is announced, things will get done quickly.

Dhfc, well, some have said we are still in for Diomande, while the majority have said we've moved on. We'll just have to wait and see what the outcome is.
My personal view is that Real Madrid is not really serious about Diomande. They could be using it as leverage in getting Vinicius Jr to sign their offer.
Bayern does not want to sell Olise, and Diomande is not good enough yet. Does Diomande want to join Real and get farmed out as Real have done with almost every other young potential star player?

Those are exactly the positions that need addressing. I hope they can get done.
In midfield, it is looking more and more likely there will be a couple of departures. That would help us with the recomposition.
