Passing that same reliability to Sesko wouldn't be a good idea, Isak is an established premier league player and will come at a cost, how about Isak and Guehi and let the club worry about money.

I’m sorry kit but it’s that kind of thinking that made us mediocre under Rodgers, Kenny, Woy etc.
Klopp brought in a new attitude to transfers, we sign our targets or we sign no one and it’s put us back at the top table in Europe.
The money for Isak is 100% worth it to have a player who we can be fairly certain (as certain as you can be) will score 20+ goals most seasons for the next 6 years. Salah won’t last forever so his goals need replacing and Isak is the most sure thing out there right now.
If there is a chance of signing Isak we should pull out all the stops to make it happen.

If our guys reckon they can get the players we are getting, great.
As I said in a post a few weeks ago, I kinda get what it's like to support Chelsea or City over the last 10+ years, albeit with much better fans, more heart at the club and much less chance of vomiting in your mouth!

I’d be tempted to agree. Isaks injury record coupled with his history of forcing moves is enough to cast doubts on him for me.
That being said we won the league with no fixed No9 so feck it and let the club do what they think is best.

Guehi and Sesko are arguably no better than Konate and Nunez.
We’d be moving sideways.
Isak is world class, arguably the best if not top 3 centre forwards in world football.

People talking about buying Isak would be too much risk for us, it's not like we're bankrupting the club praying that he will bring us to the top. We are at the top, we have monitored him for ages, he is our number one target, we have more than enough money to make it happen, players like him arrive on the market once every 10 years and the chances that you are one of the clubs in the conversation to buy him are slim, we don't need him to play every minute of every game and score 40 goals for us, we have the squad to manage his minutes. I don't really get what else you need to convince yourself that it's a good move.

Do people really believe Isak is even a once in a decade talent? Even if you do, he is definitely priced at a premium given what he's accomplished and the shortage of forwards currently (for me he's a big fish in a currently shallow pond) . Is Isak going to provide as much effort, goals, and minutes as Salah? I don't see it, and I think that's where others skepticism or worry about the cost is coming from. Put another way, I'm concerned that he is a luxury player that needs to have managed minutes and will contributes less work rate to the team than other players, and the price he'll cost just adds to the concern because, although it's not our money, it is still a limited resource.

If the club had the same doubts as you do snuggle then they wouldn't be interested. If we sign Isak I want him on the shoulder of the last defender not sprinting 90 yards back to stop a cross.

I don’t get the problem with managed minutes. In fact, a couple of our players could’ve done with them last season.
