We all appreciate the information, Carra, so thank you. But seriously, what kind of idiots are in charge of our club? Why the club likes Schade is highly questionable, and what is inexplicable is how we were priced out for him! Minteh is anything but opportunistic - 50m for an injured player as limited as him is yet another damning evaluation on how c**p our youth coaching remains.
I'm very much in the optimistic camp regarding Iraola, but something stinks if these are our transfer targets.

A deal can definitely be done for Gavi. Player would like the move unless Barca will guarantee playing time (which they won't).
Approx EUR70m euros is what I've heard their price is, but they will definitely come down.

@Lowe1, the "idiots in charge of our club" are the ones who have turned it from a £300m club to a £5bn club. Apart from the disrespect, I believe your view of what the club can, and is going to, do is a smidgeon off the mark.
Again, I assume if they want Minteh I would expect the contract to be for 5 years and not 10 weeks. Look, up there are bigger plans than worrying about the team for the weekend.

1. Don't assume I'm talking about FSG if that's what you're doing. As is widely known, they've nothing to do with the day-to-day running of the club (though I think if they'd had closer oversight, people like Michael Edwards wouldn't have been able to mess things up for years).
2. Disrespect? I can be as critical as I wish when it seems likely those in charge are making bad, panicked transfer decisions stemming from poor planning or execution of a recruitment strategy.
If the club is worth 5bn, it stands that it has the resources to find and attract people able to operate it more effectively.

Not sure how we're not able to meet the price on Schade if we want him. Same sort of bracket as Minteh.
I also wouldn't have thought Brighton would sell Minteh more cheaply because of a short term injury, and we've been scouting him for a while.
There's some puzzling stuff coming out of the club recently from the itks. Also, a lot of left field moves that no one saw coming, and odd decisions in the market. Feels like the club are winging it.

Really not keen on Minteh from what I've seen but would like to give everyone a chance who joins.I'd just rather have quality depth than depth for the sake of it.
Maybe Eds can give a little more info on Minteh as from what I've seen he's quick and hardworking but end product is not very good.
