I mentioned back in June we were looking at Gjivai Zechiël.
Had it again, we are continuing to show concrete interest in the player.
Also mentioned earlier this month about Joaquin Seys, he is definitely someone the club likes, price a issue.
Also i would not be surprised if we bid for Endrick in January.

For a guy who is predominantly a DM his stats this season are insane! 9 goal involvements (5 goals, 4 assists) in 8 games. I know it's only the Dutch league but still impressive!

Thanks Carra. At the right price that could be an astute signing and a much better fit for what Iraola wants from his midfielders than Macca long term. It would also fill the Curtis Jones shaped whole in the midfield depth. He's a really hard working midfielder, really good technically and decent in the tackle.
That reference is a real throwback, Ron. I'm sure I see someone reference Simao during the transfer window as well. Don't get me started on missing out on David Silva and then Juan Mata later.

Zechiel scored a goal last night against Como and put in an eye-catching performance in front of our scouts, apparently.
On first glance, he's bit like Gravy but has a decent long pass. He likes the Fabinho chipped pass into the box too.

It's difficult to speculate on what the club's vision is for the midfield is. You would think Trey Nyoni features somewhere. Perhaps the answer lies there somewhere - what kind of player would most complement Trey in the future.
