My mate is a courier and has just dropped off a high priority package to the club shop with 10,000 letter zeds for the back of shirts. Something must be happening.

KD7

{Ed002's Note - Gazza!!!}

1.) 30 Jun 2023 18:12:10
Ziyech's move to Saudi has just broken down over a dodgy knee, but that shouldn't be an issue for a Liverpool medical. It all adds up.

2.) 30 Jun 2023 18:16:21
Loving the old school rumours. ?.

3.) 30 Jun 2023 18:38:57
Zenden to come out of retirement?

4.) 30 Jun 2023 18:44:58
Sorry to ruin the rumour, but it's actually for the biannual LFC full sized scrabble tournament.

Klopp is trying to cheat by smuggling in a load of Zs so he can rack up the points with obscure words - he's been studying the last 'chapter' of the OED.

5.) 30 Jun 2023 18:46:59
Zebedi from rainbow ?.

6.) 30 Jun 2023 19:00:42
I could do with some zeds f#*#n knackered.

7.) 30 Jun 2023 19:22:47
Definitely zizzou out of retirement as can’t think of anyone with that many zzs.

8.) 30 Jun 2023 20:30:39
1jj. zebedee from magic roundabout I think you meant pal.

9.) 30 Jun 2023 21:27:33
Lol @ Gazza. Nice one Ed002.

Did anyone notice Robbo on the touch line about to come on when Sheffield United scored to equalise? An expression of shear Scottish rage and determination.

KD7

1.) 05 Apr 2024 19:25:32
Lest hope he has that rage to smash them lot on Sunday!

2.) 05 Apr 2024 22:21:05
Prefer him to have a cool head to be honest.
But still needle the dirty mancs.

3.) 07 Apr 2024 11:19:19
What I love about Robbo is that despite all the success he has had, he still plays with that edge, that chip on his shoulder that got him where he is now in his career after nearly not having a career to begin with. You know who else played that way? Tom Brady.

{Ed025's Note - Robbo has a bit more than an edge Oli, hes a thug at times, good man to have in your side though..

So we had 4 of the normal line (including GK) not starting and 2 of the forward line not able to start plus a few others. Yet, somehow we are disappointed with a draw against City. Incredible effort, squad and mentality.

KD7

1.) 10 Mar 2024 19:58:13
KD7, things are looking up, apparently. I know Diaz will get stick for his missed chancs and all that BUT sorry, I can NOT fault his game overall. He was absolutely immense even tho, I would have liked these chances to fall on someone else cos he is not that clinical.

Also maybe the way he played and the outstanding amount of desire and effort he put in robbed him of that bit of calm in front of goal. In the end, we battered City and we still have our title hopes intact, IMO. YNWA!

2.) 10 Mar 2024 20:32:56
To dominate the second half against arguably the best team in Europe with the players we had missing was such an effort. What a well oiled machine this coaching staff have formed. Massive kudos to all involved. Could have won it, could have lost it, should have won it. Massively proud feeling tonight and the atmosphere proved once again what a place Anfield is. ?.

3.) 10 Mar 2024 20:49:58
Man City looked different level the first 20 mins. They have an ability to make space that I’ve never seen before fair play.

Our 2nd half performance was pure class. You have to applaud alll the players there and bit for me our 3 stand outs were Vvd, Mac and Diaz.

Atmosphere was immense as well and crowd truly played their part.

This squad have the ability to win lots of things going forward but Klopp doesn’t have that time on his side.

I so hope we win this league title for him.

4.) 10 Mar 2024 21:00:31
We should not sugar coat. The target was to beat City, and we failed. The target was to maintain top position in league table, we failed. Real men don't sugar coat, and VVD in interview got it spot on, it was bitter sweet. We failed as team and as a club this evening.

5.) 10 Mar 2024 21:49:28
Honestly what more do you want. One of the best performances of the season and one of the best games with 2 amazing teams. Some people are never happy but win, lose or draw I’m so proud of our boys, as many of them are just boys and what a future they have.

{Ed025's Note - absolutely JGrant mate..

6.) 10 Mar 2024 21:53:10
What a brilliant game two great teams giving it all
Anfield crowd was simply outstanding.

7.) 10 Mar 2024 23:16:14
In a way I'm gutted because I fully believe we should've won that game but in another way I'm not. It was always going to be one of them, a very hard game and I'm just thankful we didn't lose, I'll take the point.

8.) 10 Mar 2024 23:44:06
Leek you literally have no idea about football or competitive sports at all do you?

You can play well and lose just as you can play poorly and win. Nothing is ever guaranteed no matter what you do as a team or a club.

You have to understand the delicate nuances of professional sport and the ebb and flow of confidence and momentum. What we did today was stand toe to toe with the current PL and European Champions, a team that many think will waltz away with the league again. We dominated them for large periods and made their manager scramble around for answers.

It’s very rarely black and white, a win is success and a defeat is failure, there’s so much more to it than that and for anyone who doubted if this team has what it takes to win the title today we showed ourselves and everyone who watched it that we have enough quality and desire to go all the way.

You’re welcome to your opinion of course but I think I know which players will come out of that game buzzing and looking forward to what’s ahead and which players will have seeds of doubt sewn into their heads.

It was a good job done, it was far from a failure.

9.) 10 Mar 2024 23:49:39
Brilliant match. So proud of the boys. Any future manager coming in must be seeing the potential of this club.

10.) 11 Mar 2024 03:55:47
@Beckers, Lee is just a troll whose main purpose is to get a rise from us fans. He was running his mouth throughout the entirety of the live chat during yesterday's game, calling for Klopp to be "punished" for leaving out Salah from the start and generally thrashing all our players. He also did write, and I quote, "its a must not lose game. We did ok", which is contrary to what he posted above. Best to not give him any more attention since it seems to energise and encourage him to continually post crap.

11.) 11 Mar 2024 06:50:16
Great game of football - the two of the best sides in the country, possibly Europe, going at it from beginning to end. Couldn’t ask for anything more in terms of effort and, on a different day, with a bit of luck, a match winning performance against a top, top team. Good to be a Redman and footy fan yesterday and, when you consider the expectations at the start of the season, we are just light years ahead of what most of us hoped for. Bring it on for the rest of the season - just can’t wait for the next match.

12.) 11 Mar 2024 06:55:51
Leek also said he is done with PL football on the live chat yet here he is today posting about a Pl team. Clearly not a bloke with any conviction ?‍♂️.

13.) 11 Mar 2024 08:50:19
"Real men don't sugar coat" - had to laugh at that one.
Is it only women and wimps that work in the confectionary industry then?

14.) 11 Mar 2024 09:09:05
I know Drac but sometimes it’s hard not to bite. He’s such a weasel lol :)

15.) 11 Mar 2024 10:34:16
Beckers pecker mate, I was going to say the same thing. Leek is an Arsenal fan and a troll trying to stir stuff up. I admit, I get triggered with his nonsense BUT really, don't feed him. It's what makes him relevant.

16.) 11 Mar 2024 10:52:44
Probably got a sore head after celebrating winning the title for the fifth time this season.

17.) 11 Mar 2024 12:10:10
I’m proud of the way we went at that game yesterday. Didn’t give up and were the better team overall. Great performance and unlucky not to get more than one point. We’re still in a title race and we’ve loads to play for. Hopefully City and Arsenal cancel each other out and we take advantage. No reason why we can’t win every game between now and the end of the season.

18.) 11 Mar 2024 13:01:39
To quote LeeKuanYew from the live chat yesterday " I didn't realize I am so popular, I luv you all" (when he was being asked to bugger off and stop with the abuse and trolling) . That tells you all you need to know about his trolling motivations for posting here and being in the Live Chat. He needs to be removed from the Live Chat.

Don’t celebrate the win too much; there is still a chance VAR could overrule the win.

With John Brooks around, you're prolly right.

21 Dec 2023 13:20:48
So last night was a lot better and several players put in great performances.

We really need to reflect on where we are; still in league cup, easily topped Europe league group, above city and one point off top after 17 games. We would have taken this if it was offered to us in August. Especially with a new midfield bedding on and a few injuries.

The Man U game was poor but we were still miles better than them. The Arsenal game is is huge and Klopp is riling up the fans as he knows the full power of Anfield is like a cheat code driving the team on.

I think we have done well and need a little more in the transfer window for the second half of the season. Especially as Mo and endo disappear off to play in tournaments for their countries.

If we could sign one player in January to make the difference who would you want?

KD7

1.) 21 Dec 2023 13:34:55
Well we need more than one. Need a proper Left center back. that will forever put an end to the issues on the right hand side. A top class Defensive midfielder. at some point we will need to start thinking about replacing Salah.

2.) 21 Dec 2023 15:37:43
Inacio, Andre, Olise? can't think of many for those positions but more or less agree.

3.) 21 Dec 2023 15:53:13
Forget olise neco Williams brother of inaki would great.

4.) 21 Dec 2023 16:21:35
Inacio would be a terrific signing on what I see. Hoever we did miss a trick on Van de Ven. boy looking good.

5.) 21 Dec 2023 18:10:43
Can't think of anyone tbh.
We're well stocked in all positions and I like the guys we have currently.
I prefer we see this team continue its growth and also to see the youngsters come through.

6.) 21 Dec 2023 19:20:16
I’d be all over Bruno guimares if the opportunity arose 100mill release/ buyout clause aswell I’ve heard . I really like ezri konsa of villa seems so calm and is having a great past 12 months
And I think the salah replacement is anyone’s
Guess as he’s been that good that anyone we sign in that position Is doomed to fail so I say get him signed up for another 2/ 3 years he’s as fit as a fiddle.

7.) 21 Dec 2023 20:06:11
CB and DM in Jan please?

No need to replace Mo for a while yet unless he wants to leave.

That’s how I see it.

12 Dec 2023 23:44:48
A bit of a blow for the Utd game with Maguire potentially injured on top of Fernandez suspension. That's two easy weaknesses to exploit gone.

KD7

1.) 13 Dec 2023 00:12:02
Hopefully the Utd physios can work some magic and get Maguire on the pitch on Sunday.

2.) 13 Dec 2023 10:52:59
He and Shaw have both been better recently, possibility they're both out and Wan Bissaka and Evans will fill in, which should have Salah, Nunez and the others salivating.

3.) 13 Dec 2023 16:45:54
I actually think Wan Bissaka is probably the best of a bad bunch of defenders at United. He has skill, heart and ‘gets stuck in’. That said I’d like Seven to be able to field whatever he imagines his best team is and to watch us give them a good pasting, which we are more than capable of doing and then listen to his increasingly odd post-match comments. I’m really looking forward to the match.

I have to say I quite liked watching the Carabao cup semi without VAR. Football the way I remember it. Score a goal and celebrate. If something is missed unlucky. Get rid of forensic offside. Somehow it is easier to accept mistakes made when there is no VAR. We have replaced on field mistakes and controversy with VAR mistakes and controversies whilst ruining the spontaneity of the moment.

I find international football to be very strange these days with so there being so much money in the game. In what other industry would you repeatedly lend some one else (FIFA) assets worth tens of millions of pounds for comparatively little return.

Players are playing additional games, travelling more and could get injured so the real employer does not get the very best out of their asset whilst FIFA make a mint.

Surely the format has to change and at some stage the ‘rights’ of FIFA over players reviewed at some time given the value of players and strength of clubs.

KD7

{Ed002's Note - It is not the choice of FIFA who is selected for international games.}
