I say if Ali had played last week v Fulham we would of won that game Kelleher has done well but he is not on par with the best in the world Alison Becker i have seen the keepers from Tommy Lawrence to clem to bruce to sander to pep to Dudeck and the rest i never thought i would see better than clem but Ali is the best i promise you . YNWA.

How could you leave David James out of that list?
I think clemance just edges it for now compared to Alison. If we get another season or two from Alison at his best Alison has a great chance of being out best number one.

Alisson is ahead for me as well, he's definitely the best I've ever seen and there's really no comparison between him and Kelleher. Remember earlier this season when some people were saying Kelleher should replace Alisson? Hilarious.

Remember it well, Salah. I never joined the Kelleher bandwagon. To me, he's just a decent keeper, no more. Folk were saying he was a top 4 keeper. Not in my opinion. He'd improve Chelsea, but that's more to do with their keeper being lousy. If he does leave, which is highly likely, I wish him all the best.

I think Kelleher is a very good keeper and hopefully he gets a move in the summer so he can play regularly and that will see him improve even more. Done very well for a second choice keeper for us helping the club win trophies.

He’s a different level, Newcastle would have played a lot differently if Becker was in goal in the cup final.
CK is vulnerable to any high balls. He’s weak in the air so Newcastle put high crosses in.
You’re wasting your time doing that against Becker.

Allison is miles clear. We have so much to thank him for. A model professional and winner. Legend for me.

Back to being the best in the world no doubt.

Interesting that Slot said ir was Ali’s best game of the season after the match. Personally I thought that Ali’s performance in Paris was the best keeping in a game since Gordon Banks kept Brazil down to 1 in the 1979 World Cup.

I've seen a lot of great keepers over the years but Allison is the best for me. There has never been a better one on one keeper in my life in all of football. He terrorised aguero in one on one chances and he was cold as ice.
In addition he's good with distribution and a pretty good leader as well. For me Alli is by far and away the best keeper Liverpool has ever had and tied with schmeical for best prem keeper ever.

I think that’s harsh on Kelleher. When he gets a run in the side he gets better and better and is in the top 5 keepers in the league.
When Ali came back from injury he played worse than Kelleher had been playing so that’s why some said Kelleher should still be in goal. He was a better keeper than Ali at that point.
Now Ali has got back to somewhere near his best he’s comfortably the best in the Premier League and probably the world.
You can’t judge Kelleher against Ali because he doesn’t have the assurances of being first choice that Ali has. He’s in and out of the side and always knowing that as soon as Ali is fit, no matter how well he plays he’s being dropped. That’s tough to deal with and he’s done it admirably.
Kelleher will probably leave and who could begrudge him that? He’s been outstanding for us in a difficult situation for him.

I doubted Id ever see a keeper better than Clemence but even with recency bias, i think Ali shades him now.

Kelleher would be a decent first choice keeper for many clubs in the PL. A solid option without being outstanding. But if teams are looking to win and challenge for titles and cups regularly, I don't think he is the kind of keeper that we would be looking at.

@wdw I think Slot might have meant Alison's best performance in the league. What he did against PSG was inhuman.
