Again, this is not meant as a put down of Saka as think he's great.
Looked at the personal statistics for both, seems to me Gakpo has an edge almost on every aspect.
Only statistics and only for this year but still.
{Ed001's Note - to be fair, Saka has been doing it for years at a consistently high level, whereas I have spent most of Gakpo's time with us having to defend him on here. Gakpo also has the advantage of playing for Klopp and Slot, rather than Arteta.}

I think Saka is a quality player but I thought Robbo kept him very quiet yesterday which is not bad considering Robbo is done.
I think Gakpo is also a special player and look electric when he drops that shoulder.
On a separate note just seen that Slot is in Ibiza partying haha. That’s our gaffer.

He’s a good player, don’t get me wrong, but Salah is elite, you can replace him with one player.

Really like Cody as a player and seems like a grounded lad as well. However, Saka is different class, top top player who walks into any team in the world imo, gakpo nowhere near that level.

Saka is a top top player. But he’s not a winner.
There’s a loser In there somewhere, a personality trait he needs to shake sooner rather than later.
He misses massive chances in crucial moments, I don’t think he’s ever got over that penalty he missed for England. Arteta doesn’t help.

I think the conversation is more about the numbers Man of Todd. I’d agree that Saka looks a more dynamic player but at the end of the day it’s the numbers that count. There’s no point looking great if you don’t doing anything with it.
It’s the reason Salah isn’t mentioned in the same breath as Henry. Henry will always be thought of as the better player because he looked like a better player even though Salah’s numbers stand up to him in every aspect.

Saka's class but Gakpo's goal stats ARE better. And as for Gakpo been helped by being at L'pool instead of Arsenal i don't think many peoe wuda seen it that way at the start of the season.

Here’s an insight for you - there are far, far too many people on here who take themselves way too seriously and far too many rushing in to defend the indefensible as in this case where you are - when you think about it - patronising @Vango, who is quite able (and welcome) to respond to my comment if he wishes. I assume that when they advertise for a mother hen for the site you’ll be applying for the job? I have to say you seem adequately skilled for the role.
