Don’t know what you think but I think Carragher's questions and comments to Slot after the game were patronising and disrespectful. We all know there are some issues at the back and there are a few mitigating circumstances. But no one knows that more than the manager. He’s shown he can sort things out so I think Carra needs to come down a peg or two. Maybe I’m overreacting it I think he’s not the person to lecture Slot about tactics. What you think?

Personally think Carragher has been particularly strange with his opinions and commentary of late. Like questioning the signing of Isak which just seems like a ridiculous thing to ask? We clearly badly need another forward.
Then his comments about Chiesa coming on for Wirtz, which for me made perfect sense because we didn’t actually have a ST/ No9 on the pitch. Glad he was incorrect on that one!
Feels like he’s being incredibly negative for practically no reason at times….

I don’t mind him questioning it with Slot. There is too much of people to scared to speak out in the world. Arne is a big boy and I’m sure he is confident enough about what he is doing to not be bothered by it.
I’m not Cara’s biggest fan but during the game he queried Chiesa coming on and the said later that why Arne is a coach and he is a pundit.

I don’t know what he said but if it’s about our midfield getting overrun on counter attacks due the lack of a natural protector then I guess he is right.

Carragher and pundits in general seem to think that being a bit controversial means they stay relevant. I'm pretty sure Slot won't be basing his next team talks around anything Carragher has had to say.

The guy had all the knowledge to go on and be a great manager, but dint have the desire or bottle to do it.
So I would always take notice of what he says but I would always back Slot for what he does.

I've got no time for Carragher after the spitting incident but I actually agree with what he said last night.
When your full backs are both playing near the corner flag at 2-1 up and you lose a goal like that on the counter, someone needs to ask the questions.
The balance isn't right for me at the moment and, even though Konate was poor on the 2nd half, there was no protection for the only 2 players who were defending.
Playing like that will mean we concede far more than we need to and cost us many points over the season. Enough to stop us winning the league as teams learn to just hit us on the break (like all pre season and the last 2 games) .
Buying another 2 defenders won't stop us getting done on the counter.

Come on, guys. I certainly do not agree with Carragher's opinions, nor do I tolerate his spitting incident. But I feel some are going overboard with their criticism. He did something terrible (spitting) a few years ago. But is he really a terrible human being? We all have done things we aren't particularly proud of, but they don't define us. Remember, we lost Jota a short while ago. Puts everything in perspective. If it was Carragher (LLNP) that had the accident, would we remember and define him for the spitting incident and it alone?

I think Carra is an absolute imbecile. Seriously the guy hasn’t got 2 brain cells to rub together.
I cringe at his attempt to analyse games it’s like a 5 year old has hacked my TV. He really does have a very limited intellect.
Why are we surprised his go to insult is to spit at someone? That’s what spiteful little kids do and he is basically a child in a man’s body.
I just don’t bother watching him anymore he has nothing interesting to say.
