Whatever the plan is . it's the wrong one . last year we were far more stocked in positions and won 1 trophy . not sure what the thinking is but letting Elliott go when we still needed two attackers with him in the squad is foolish . and Salah already knows arsenal are favourites before Eze going

As we’ve been told on here many times two things can be right at the same time and I think it could be possible here.
I think we’ve had a good window but also agree the squad looks light of depth compared to last season.
Slot didn’t utilise the squad fully last season though but it’s likely to be another 55-60 game season.
I’m not sure we can risk the gamble on Virg and Grav being available for the majority of them again and we also know Salah will miss 6 league games for the Afcon.
Edwards, Hughes and Slot seem like they have a plan though and I have my full faith in them.
There’s still a week and a half to run in window though so things should become clearer.

Ehhh. We've sold 2 starters. Nunez, Quansah and Elliot is squad-players. Along with a few youngsters. Sadly we lost Jota.
We've replaced Quansah with Leoni, Ekitike replaced Diaz who played most of last season through the middle. Frimpong for Trent. Wirtz basically replacing Elliot (lol) . Yes we need an attacker to replace Nunez/ Jota and by all accounts its seems to be Isak.
I do feel we need another experienced cb.
Apart from that we've got Nyoni and Rio who needs minutes.
I really fail to see how this Window has been rubbish. some ppl.

Our window has been excellent so far. We have generated a load of money through sales allowing us to go into the final weeks of the window armed with room to do more.
Yes, the Guehi and Isak deals are running into the final week - but that is the nature of those deals unfortunately.
I still think Fofana has been told to sit tight and that we might make a late move for him depending on what happens with Elliott and Chiesa.
If those three deals are done, we'll have completely refreshed our back and front lines in one window while also dealing with the tragic loss of Diogo.
The only area that would concern me after that would be defensive midfield. That would not be because of numbers but rather the drop off in technical ability and legs from Gravy to Endo.

We are a bit short of a number 9 but we only have to get through until January and reassess. We are certainly not weaker than this time last year.

. Kerkez wirtz and ekitike (who looks like he is much better at linkup than Diaz so more flexible) are all first team upgrades. Leoni (who to me looks like he is our future vvd replacement) is quansah upgrade and frimpong promises to be decent replacement for Trent. We have a huge squad so it was always going to be trimmed. If we get Isak then our front line is much stronger. We’ve improved the first 11, have good coverage whilst opening up opportunities for the youngsters. I’m not sure how you can say it’s weaker.
