What did people think of Carragher monologue last night on MNF? Whilst I agree that it would always be preferred for Salah to keep everything behind closed doors no matter the cause but seriously carragher sounded like a right twat!

Calling Salah a disgrace after his spitting incident doesn't sit well at all. At the end of the day it's just football, gobbing at someone whilst driving is an actual disgrace.

I so despise the guy. He is a shameless bugger. He will do anything sky producers tell him to rile up the audience. Salah's comments were far from being a disgrace. People are making too much of this idea of nothing is bigger than the club. Well the people of Liverpool, the supporters are bigger than the club which is nothing but a corporate house.

I only listened to it right the way through once Dow-ney, but the main points of his monologue I actually thought were pretty spot on. I don't normally agree with what he has to say, but unlike many on here to seem to just hate him for the sake of it, I took his points as a separate notion and on this occasion I think he was pretty measured and accurate with his statements, with exception to the "If you throw my club under the bus I'll go for you" comment.
That was a bit childish.

Whilst I don’t agree Salah shouldn’t have spoken to the press. The things Carra said were personal and despicable;
- Salah abandoned Trent for eight seasons. I bet he didn’t say that last season when he was breaking records last season.
- Salah was a Chelsea reject before Liverpool. Carra needs to step out of Bootle. Forget Salah averaged a goal nearly every two games for Roma, was excellent for Fiorentina and Basel too.
- “I’ve never criticised Salah on the pitch” even his colleague said, “you said last week his legs had gone”.
The general bitter tone he had was disgusting like he hated him. To cap it off today he responds to Salah’s pic on X and says “I’ve never wanted to win a game more”. Again like it was personal. This spitting tosser should be struck off. Again no nuance to Hughes, Edwards and Slot’s ineptitude.

Team and being a failure at Chelsea were very low. Did Carragher forget that Mo was clearly playing well to get his move to Liverpool and has been a phenomenon from day one. Mo is where he is because of Mo’s desire, commitment and professionalism and yes Liverpool platformed him and paid him well but Liverpool didn't make Mo and Slot certainly didn’t.
It was a complete hit piece on a Liverpool player from a former player and that is the real disgrace. Maybe Jamie might put a bit more scrutiny on a manager who has lost the confidence of his star man, overseen the worst record of over 50 years and spend almost half a billion on world beaters that he has now made into laughing stocks!

Agreed with every word except the bit where he’s trying to make a claim about Mo being a failure at Chelsea. That was a bit petty.

He was spot on for me. Gerrard did flirt with Chelsea and Trent left for Madrid. Coutinho had a phantom injury and Suarez bit someone but none of them came out in the press criticising their employers.
Salah was out of order. End of story.

Carragher is just doing a job. It’s neither here nor there if he’s actually any good or if he is right or wrong. His bosses seem happy with him talking without thinking and I guess there are enough people watching him to ensure his contract keeps getting renewed. Threads like this (and yes, I know I’m contributing) would seem to prove the point.

I don’t watch them, I don’t listen to them on the radio. Life is too short.
