I think we were good for about 10 minutes after our 1st goal.
We pressed, we played quicker, we were decisive in what we were doing. but that all stopped and Fulham then dominated us.

I am not defending Slot but being talented is one thing. Being lazy, not closing down, not winning tackles and not breaking a sweat is something totally different.

That equaliser doesn't happen if the midfield is properly organised, has some degree of physicality and has a top class defensive midfielder, that goal only happens because we're weak, disorganised, and have no defensive nous in midfield. All on Slot.

In the case of myself, it's not a case of supporting Slot, I'm as chuffed off as most with how we're playing, but, unless there is a quality replacement lined up, I don't see the point in sacking him. We are still 4th and look like going through in the CL.
If that were to change, and we forfeit the FA cup, the decision may well be to get rid. As things stand, no matter what anyone here thinks, I believe that will be the stance the club takes.

Thank you for the discussion Ed 1, firstly, I asked the question of replacement manager as it is a suggested on here that he be sacked, as of yet, as far as we know Hughes doesn't agree so no point asking him. And if got it wrong with Slot maybe he should go too!
With regards to players, physical or otherwise, is it not Hughes buying them too?
We may not always agree but debate is healthy.
I still hope he gets it right, thank you as always for the hardwork and insight.

{Ed001's Note - I did not want Hughes in the first place, so for me he is a problem too, as is Edwards. None of them deserve to be in the roles they have. The problem is that we are unlikely to see any of the top 2 go - Edwards got the job as he is mates with John Henry and then gave his mate Hughes the job. I expect them to be given a lot more time.
I personally, without having had any opportunity to really look into options, would be looking at Iraola and Hoeness. I would 100% be avoiding De Zerbi and Glasner.}

Something Red not on Slot's side but the players have to take the blame for the two goals conceded . Making the sub straight after we scored was Slotts mistake the players were sorting themselves and took their eye of the ball also the midfield should takes some blame as well . Dreading Arsenal next week .
