I fear you are right Wdw. I was just thinking along the lines of financial practicality, i.e. if CL is looking like it may be in serious jeopardy, for instance, not being able to beat the worst-form team in the league, then people would act accordingly to protect themselves as much as the club.

I think, from an FSG perspective, we are a lucrative business asset, and as long as Slot keeps us within the acceptable financial requirements, he will be tolerated. That said, I think he'll be gone at season's end.

He's here till the end of the season at least. That much became evident back in November. We've lost to countless bottomfeeders this season, and the club's done nothing. They're not going to change their tune now, with only so many games left. They've accepted their fate, whatever it may be.
