Let's face it we played decent today, unlucky at times n should have won comfortable, but when any team put us under pressure at the back for more than 10 mins we concede, then we have 7 mins extra time n Burnley seemed to control.

that 7 mins. sick of thinking what's up with this team, so just hope we get top 4 n new manager comes in for next season. one real positive is I love watching Wirtz play.

How to break down the low block Arne get a big center forward put the ball up to him have our players all around him kick the ball long around their area and play off him .
Get the ball out wide take on the full back then cross it into the area to towards the big center forward all other players pick up the bits and pieces
Well that's how teams broke it down in the old days before the fancy name low block, park the bus you would think these coaches invented 11men behind the ball no it has been around many many years.


If you have a team who puts everyone behind the ball you have to have a plan B, C, D not pas the ball around until the camera man/ woman gets dizzy you coaches are paid millions to solve problems solve them or move on and let someone who can solve the problem have a go

Letting burnley set up and put 10 men in the box then taking a shot is not the best idea.

We weren't awful, but we clearly weren't good as we have been consistently drawing against awful teams.

Endo at centre back would be just as problematic as he'd be targeted by opposition managers for his lack of height. Also doesn't address the fact we're weak and disorganised in midfield and second best all over the pitch.

Well I honestly don't know how to feel about that game, on the one hand it was a decent performance from us, we tried different ways to create against a low block and managed to get in dangerous positions a few times, we just somehow failed to connect and put the ball in the net at key moments.

Again we let in a goal that we had no reason to concede with the opposition's one and only shot on target. I can't even say that anybody performed badly, everybody played generally fine, Wirtz was very good, the two full backs were good, but mystifyingly (yet predictably) we failed to make everything decent that we did count.

It's very frustrating that the opposition can offer absolutely nothing for pretty much 95% of the game and still come away with something at Anfield.

Have to agree Wirtz was absolutely on another level, we played a decent first half but it was very obvious that Slot changed tactics at half time and held Kerkez back, net effect was we lacked pace and pressure down the left wing and gave them an easy out.

We had them pinned back and under pressure and slot chose caution over attack because as long as he isint loosing he using getting the sack.

I feel we're almost the definition of safe and mediocre.

We've no goals from midfield for example, which is a major problem if you don't have anyone prolific in attack.

We've no prolific strikers, although Wirtz has got better. We've no real threat from set pieces so won't get much that way. So basically no real goal threat in the team, part of that's obviously tactical.

Secondly we can't keep enough clean sheets to get away with scoring so few goals.

I'm not sure what else to say.

The clubs rolling the dice if slot finishes the season, and also fails to replace konate with a top CB.
This team isn't winning any competition this season. I've seen 6 months of dross and a CB who's the most fortunate to be getting minutes every week due to whatever circumstances.
The club's owners should want to know from the 3 of them where massive investment went, and why is this a team still very short in some areas and performing to this standard.


There's been failures here at every level this season. You demand questions as a business owner (s) with such investment and far worse returns than last season.
The narrative has also been sneakily changing to "transition year". No failings at every level.

Cant believe we drew that game. Somethings were better somethings were the same. A draw to Burnley at home. What a nightmare.

Top 4 is at serious risk. We need to find form ASAP.
