Hi Ed001, I asked few weeks ago mate about if it's possible for Entikike and Isaac, I'm presuming with Isaac handing in a request it increases our chances?

I’m actually a little worried psg might be an option… I know they went away from signing stars but Isak isn’t that kinda celebrity guy. They don’t have a striker and they were the best team in Europe last season so for me they’re potentially a contender. He’s surely not going to Saudi or turkey, Spain seems off the table with only Madrid having money but no need for a striker. Bayern have the money and attraction but they have Kane so maybe it’s too early to go there. For me that leaves us, psg and arsenal as the only real contenders, please put me right if I’m wrong Ed’s.

If Arsenal hadn’t got Gyokeres I’d see them being an option. I can’t see PSG being interested and Madrid have other priorities. Even if a Al Hillal “bid” £150m (and I use quotation marks as they’re owned by PIF so it would be a scam) it doesn’t matter if Isak isn’t interested. If he makes it clear there’s only one club he wants to go to, then that’s the end of it. Players hold the power now as we found out with Arnold. Feels like a matter of when rather than if.

I do wonder why man city or Madrid wouldn't get involved. I know city have Haaland. But they also used to have Alvarez at the same time and Haaland does seem to get some injuries.

Livered, I’m hoping it’s more the case that he wants to join Liverpool than he wants out of Newcastle. Could be wrong of course, but if that is true I’d also imagine Liverpool and his team have pretty much agreed terms and been told he wants to come.

I think someone mentioned this the other day.
I can see a world where a Saudi club pays more for Nunez than we would normally expect with a big chunk of it up front. Then Liverpool pay a similar big chunk up front plus some more for Isak.

No need to worry, it's the same as the Wirtz deal. He only wants LFC and LFC will get him.
Just give it time for all parties to agree on the numbers and structure but after the last 24 hrs, I'd say he's 100% not staying at NU and 90% nailed on coming to us.
