What is pretty clear to me is that different sources are definitely getting different information from the club. Carra, Robbo, VG all seem to have slightly different stands. Actually, it seems like the club are trying to weed out the leaks. Let's see what the summer brings.

Slot will be offered a new contract and will be manager next season. I've been saying this since January, as that's what my contact has been told. The club were never going to offer Alonso the job as Slot is their man.

I'm either going to not look forward to next season with Slot .. or going to be excited and intrigued .. full of hope .. with a new man in charge ...
I wonder tho..... my memory isn't great with manager contracts....
Out of curiosity... how soon after they joined did Rodgers and Klopp get new contracts...
I'm just trying to piece together any kind of pattern... I always thought they gave Klopp a few new contracts .. one because he was making monumental shifts, progressing the club, but also making sure no other club would come knocking ...
I know contracts don't really matter as they would be paid off .. but it's the offer of one I'm thinking about ...

Cheers, Robbo. I was saying that yesterday that I can't see how things can go back from where they are now.
For me he goes, I would not rule out him taking over the national team after the World Cup.
Don't think Holland will do very good and will replace the manager and that would suit Slot down to the ground part time job based at home.

Kimuraking, absolutely no way would anyone in their right mind have been thinking of giving Slot a new contract in January with the run of results we were having & on the back of this season's results, & more importantly, performances. Nobody in their right mind would be rushing to give him a new contract now. Him staying on until next season, ok if that’s how the club view things, but before I’d wave a new contract in front of him I’d want to see some progress on the pitch, that we are at least going in the right direction & also I’d want a commitment from him that his job focus should be in Liverpool & not back in Holland, which I know where his family is, but I’m not sure the current set up is sustainable.

Slot has two jog offers near home.
I fancy this lady who works in the local chippy, telling me about this well dressed man who goes there every Friday night.
Told her that Slot will definitely go back home.
I asked about the new manager/ coach and she said that all she knew that he is still with a Premiership side.
Also said that he has the same order he phones in, steak pie and chips.
