In less than a week he said the Barcola deal was done, then he said it was nowhere near done, then he said Barcola wanted Arsenal, then he said Liverpool were the ones that walked away, then he said it was on again, then he said it was off.

VG said 6 weeks ago, Barcola was done, and as far as I recall, we haven't seen him in a Liverpool shirt, and he certainly isn't in the squad today.
I've provided an explanation on everything.
For the record, and as a personal opinion, I think walking away is a negotiation tactic, but Liverpool have absolutely told PSG under their current demands they intend to move on to other targets.

Chewy, I'm not interested in a debate about who's more ITK. Was simply pointing out that Djimi posts rumours on a rumours page and gets grief for it. Honestly I'm taking everything posted on here now with a pinch of salt.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but nobody on here called the signings of Araujo and Munoz or the bid for Minteh. Seems to me like there aren't actually many credible leaks.

Correct, MK, although I did confirm that Liverpool were trying to sign a Spanish defender. I just couldn't get the name.
Those saying about the bad news, MacAllister was the bad news, as I've posted. He wants out, but won't be sold as our target moved on.
Arsenal were all over Barcola. That has never changed. Again, Rtfp.
One thing I am 100% certain on is Barcola is not done. It may get done, but for now we've walked away.

Ultimately, no one on here has called much right this summer. Even the OG ITK's said Diamonde was done and look what happened. Same with Joao Gomes, went to Villa. Barcola was apparently due to sign 5 weeks ago. Ultimately, it’s obvious the club have tightened up on leaks this summer so I'd take everything you read on here with a pinch of salt.

Nah, but seriously, even if people think they are being fed information, how would they know if it's true, fake, if it's a tactical move to actually go after a different target, we could well want someone, make a bid, they don't want us. Etc.
Until a player is technically signed, nobody on this site or any media knows it's gonna happen.
The site just used to be fun, some posters you believed might have some connections, but more people understood that even their info could be true one day, but the situation changes the next. It now seems like a bitching fest. "My tedious information is more credible than yours."
Relax, nothing said on this or any site changes anything Liverpool do.

MK and others are right. Nothing has been called right this summer by the ITKs or the pretenders. Leaks have probably been minimised, and agents talk can be right one minute and wrong the next, or never based on fact in the first place, and basically just gossip. This is a rumours page after all, so that's the best spirit to view it in.
I predict we'll sign a player in the next seven working days, sell someone and loan someone. One of them is a marquee. My gardener told me, he cuts grass at one of our director's house. He said he's a nice bloke, Scottish guy, but always forgets where things are, as he spends most of his time away. That's a true story.

Oh yeah, that's right, DJimi. Thanks for reminding me. The best part of it all was that you made 6 or 7 completely different, totally conflicting claims about Barcola over the space of a week, AND you claimed that everything you shared was absolutely 100% correct! Now I don't know about you, but if I said the sky was blue today and green tomorrow, one of those claims is wrong.
You were changing you're story on a daily basis. Your first big change was from "deals practically done" to "we're miles apart on valuation", and as you so kindly pointed out to Vic when you tried to start a pi**ing contest with him and belittle his info, those 2 versions of events can't be true at the same time, so I'm left wondering, what magic are you made of that they're both true when you claim them?
There's no universe in which you can flip-flop 7 days a week and be right every time. At least have the humility to say "not sure about that last one lads" or "my previous info was bad", you know, like a sane person. You can't just give 7 different versions of events and claim them all to be true. They've padded rooms set aside for people like that.
Now I do hope you keep posting because all info is welcome, and the more the merrier, but please, don't start a pi**ing competition with trusted posters, don't try and belittle their stance, don't have a go at the entire community for "not liking your posts", and for the love of Fowler, don't make out like everything you share is Gospel.

Not sure if this is relevant, but I'm in Paris for the weekend with the Mrs. I'm flying back today, so went for some lunch in a nice little restaurant, a little back street place.
We ordered our garlic snails and a warm baguette to share, and in walked Barcola!
He ordered a half lager shandy and a rum chaser, sat down, looked over and said bonjour!
We had a great chat about the Renaissance and finished in agreement that Marrafat peas were far better than garden peas.
As I was leaving, he asked who was my team in England. Proudly, I announced Liverpool. Barcola said great, and he was waiting for the Bablecopter and will see me soon!!
