Just a big respect to all the EDS, just posted for first time, just a question for the eds, which one of use have been on here the longest thanks.

Yes the site used to be football-rumours . but most of the time hijacked by Liverpool fans. we were by far the most active even back then.

This site has been my daily inspiration since 2005. Ed 01 and Ed 02 are part of my life. I don't post frequently but I am here first thing in the morning, I have moved 3 countries since 2005 but this site has been my daily source of liverpool info each and every day. LOVE YOU ED 01.

All I remember is that we had to sign our names after each post otherwise posts would not get posted, Ed002 was a woman, many posts did not get posted anyway, Harry was still not on the site, and the proportion of loonies posting is about the same as today. 😂 (A quick thought just came to mind; imagine editing loony posts for 10-12 years, I'd be mentally gone) .

Crazyhorse. snap apart from lurking since near the beginning. I still remember the days of Ed, eddy etc. I think it's actually 6 countries for me and 3 continents. I post rarely but always follow and when possible spread the word of the site!

Crazy to think i’ve been using this site for nearly ten years, started as a boy and still using it now as a young man. I’d go as far to say it has been something of a support network when i am anxious or sad, talking about and consuming footie is a real anchor during tough times. As much as the input and knowledge from the Eds is outstanding and unparalleled by any other site or publication out there (something that ought to be respected more than it is) i find that the thing that keeps me coming back is the community we have here and how lovely everyone is. Talking about footie with likeminded, intelligent Liverpool supporters really is one of life’s simple yet greatest pleasures. While the days of Diego Capel and Gaston Ramirez sightings are long gone and there has been a significant influx in muppets in the past few years, i’m hoping these pages can continue to run for many years to come.

Thanks for everything you do Eds, the selfless footballing oracles that you are.

It’s crazy I can’t even remember how I ended up on this site but I’m sure glad I did I went from a reviled poster to a even more editor. And they said I wouldn’t amount to anything at school...Look at me now I work free of charge for a football website who the loser now hey? Art imitating life imitating art is a provoking thought in the context of this site. I’m sure there’s a good film to be made out there somewhere about Harry, a Being John Malkovich esque journey into the depths of his warped life, mind and psychopathic crusades on this site. I still can’t quite believe Ed001 met the guy out in Dubai and lived to tell the tale. I literally cannot picture what he must be like in real life, someone who seems incomprehensibly alien and out of reach, a David Bowie or Aphex Twin type figure. A unicorn in every sense of the word.

Just thinking about the squad, if we can get Keira, ox fit I think for midfield we be ok, I just think klopp as got to have more faith in these players, something he hasn't done, I thinks it's a weakness klopp has.

We should have no faith in Keita at all, he’s an utter waste of time, Thiagoisascouser, Klopp showed faith in Keita against Madrid and was rewarded with one of the worst Midfield performances since Christian Poulsen pulled on a red shirt.

To be fair i'd trust Keira Knightley in our midfield more than Naby Keita.

Klopp dropped Thiago that night because he had been garbage up till that point. It finally woke Thiago up so in some regards it was a good decision. We were well beaten by a horrendous Madrid team but we improved in the pr and got third.

That’s not strictly true Mark. In the three games leading up to the Madrid game, we’d won, beating RBL, Wolves and Arsenal, with Thiago playing well each time. Dropping Thiago literally made no sense, particularly in favour of Keita. The last time that Keita started was the defeat against Fulham. Which was also the last defeat we had until the Madrid match. Fact remains that Keita is utter toilet and needs to be binned off, the man is a disaster of a footballer and a train wreck of a human being. He can’t go soon enough.

Mark, none of that is true. Thiago as VVVV said had been good in the games leading to that Madrid game and many of us could and still cannot fathom why Klopp messed that up so royally.

Look, I know you are completely anti-Thiago and there is nothing he can do right in your eyes. However, that does not mean that you have to resort to making up fantasies in a bid to attack and disparage him for no reason. That is bang out of order.

Your constant attacks against him are becoming tedious and boring to read esp since he has proved you wrong time and again in the last 10 games when we really needed him (not that he needed to) . Change the record, bro. It’s skipping.

It must be 6 years I've been visiting this amazing site, but never had the coggoolies to join,
Is it ok if I give my opinion on Phillips, well Ian anyway ha
If we never played I high line he be a sound, he's a Jamie carrager, if he played under benitez I reckon, he is Mr carrager,
It's just wrong time, what's do use think.

I agree. The key question is whether Nat is happy being a backup. If he is, then to me its a no brainer UNLESS funds need to be raised, in which case his price probably won't be higher than it currently is.

I would love him to stay, probably as 4th choice behind VVD, Gomez and Konate. Matip is a better defender for us, but he's hardly ever fit, so I would rank Nat as a better option than him due to availability.

If it were down to me, I would sell Matip to raise funds. I'm sure Matip is worth no less than Phillips, if not slightly more, despite his injuries. But as Ed002 pointed out a few days ago, Klopp has no intention of selling Matip.

Agreed we have to move matip on, granted he is a good player when fit but that's a huge issue.
I would be quite happy with van dyke, gomez, konate and Nat as our main centre backs.
We got to get these players that are earning good wages and injured for large periods off the books, no use to us injured.

I think Klopp really likes Nat and appreciates him for his honest no frills endeavour and Nat will be told he has a place in the squad.

I would be happy with that as Nat will give blood sweat and tears for the shirt.

Thiago Mo Sadio Bobby and the rest will give us the magic.

There is a place in the squad for Nat and he has earned it with his efforts in helping us into third spot.

Nat needs to hang around so he can start picking up som medals next season.
