In a perfect world, Nunez takes the no. 20 to honour his team-mate, gains Jota's ice cold composure in front of goal and hits 35 goals next season, but the world is not a Disney movie.

I'm not sure if we've seen the most that Nunez can offer but I don't think Chiesa has had a fair shake so I'd keep him and see if he can make himself an important player in his second season.

Nilunez was very poor last season culminating with him downing tools and get a dressing down from Slot. His finishing was woefully bad with the chances he had and the glaring misses are stuff of legend to opposition fans. Although we still won the league in spite of him I really think his head is gone and he should be moved on.

Agree mcgoveb, slot lost it with his lack of effort can’t see him being here next season, I hate to see someone drained of confidence but not putting effort in is not on.

I’ve said we’ll keep Nunez for a couple of weeks now because we haven’t accepted reported offers over £40m and we really haven’t tried to sign anyone else.
I don’t think we were ever going to buy a striker to replace Nunez. So many have been bought by others without us even enquiring.
Chiesa, well, who’s going to by him?

I think we keep Chiesa and sell Nunez. I think someone will pay an acceptable amount for Nunez and the club will swallow the loss overall.
Hard to give up on Chiesa just yet. Last season was a learning curve. I'm easy either way with him. We sell, I won't freak out, we keep, happy to see if he can contribute more this season.

Ron that’s absolute nonsense.
Firstly, which other strikers have been bought by others. Sesko, Gyokeres, Osimhen, Ekitike are all strikers who have been doing the rounds but none have been bought. Arsenal, City, Spurs all need strikers but haven’t bought anyone. The only striker you could say has been bought is Pedro by Chelsea and he’s not really a striker.
Secondly, how on earth do you know who we’ve enquired about? If you go by reports we’ve enquired about all of the above and have been stiffing around Isak too.
