They'll sign Sesko, he apparently wants Newcastle - even if he didn't sign for them (he will) I wouldn't be too concerned, we're signing Isak before the season starts.

Man united have been linked too everyone. but like someone said the other day, every club is linked too everyone, doesn’t mean there going to actually buy them. It’s normal for a club to be interested in all the big names, even if it’s just too keep their name in the mix. The project at Newcastle at least looks more appealing than man united right now. it’s a graveyard for players. Everyone was calling for us to sign Ugarte, Yoro, even De ligt if I remember rightly and even though they came with good credit in the bank, they look to be drowning in that team. I’m here for it but don’t believe every link you read.

Isak is the icing on the cake. Even if he doesn’t come this window we have enough in attack. Central defensive is equally important.

Why did you say Sesko was no where near and going to go to Man Utd markp08? Where are you hearing this, or is it your opinion?
I agree that we have had a tasty window already, we do need a CB or two, I think it will be Guehi plus an U21 given our non-HG challenges, but Isak would be special.
We can then shut up shop (predominantly) for the next 3-4 years and dominate!
The only recruits I can see in that period are Salah and VVD replacements if they leave/ drop off.

I think that there will be another twist in the Sesko deal, but even if they don't get him. The fact they are even trying shows they know Isak is out the door, and if it isn't Sesko they'll throw money at their next option.

The culture at Unuted is as toxic as it gets, no champions league and little chance of trophies, Sesko goes to Newcastle all day long over that lot. They’re in the champions league and if he does well he‘ll get a move to a bigger side. If he goes to United it ends his career like Hojlund and Zirkzee.

If you could go to Man U or New U Mark, which would you choose? Both over you exactly the same contract.
I wouldn’t risk Man U personally, the fans turn on you at the first misplaced pass!
If you show passion and effort at Newcastle the fans will get behind you.
If the contract is the same, for me there’d be only one choice.

Markp08, it's hard to know where to begin, but:
1) Quit with the omniscient bull.
2) This is a Liverpool site, and on the whole we look at players choosing to move to United unfavourably.
3) Newcastle offer Champions League football. United finished 15th and are in spectacular disarray. So it's not the no-brainer you seem to think it is.
4) If you get off on being unpleasant, go and see a shrink for everyone's sake, yours included.
5) You may turn out to be right - Sesko goes to United, we get Isak. But will it have been worth having been such a genital about it?

I’m not sure. It does look like manu have finally targeted players who want to be there for something other than the money. I expect we will see better culture starting to emerge there along with results.

Mark I don't agree that we have enough in attack. We've lost Diogo (RIP) and Diaz and brought in Ekitike. So I'd say we're still in need of another forward.

I think Cunha and Mbueno are good to very good solid additions. If the two of them are going to make any difference there are a lot of other things that have to happen and to be fair I can’t see it happening all in one go - and I sincerely hope not because United are fun to watch / listen to these days.
