I am seeing comments about, long term messengers, and those that are not, are trolls, Or negative fans just coming out of the woodwork. I am not a regular poster but my first was 10 or more years ago. Probably more. Maybe under a different name. But anyway, you, regular posters, do not have a divine right in here and your opinion is certainly no better than anyone else's. My posts have all been positive, but even if they weren't, it doesn't make the opinion any less real. Regular posters often disagree and so it is with those who are new. Get over yourselves as this is an LFC community and not your look at at me community.

I honestly don't really keep track of who's been here for ages or not. (I do occasionally note people who never say anything positive, ever. But such individuals are rare) . People change their login names and accounts too.

But when someone is saying stuff like Klopp is losing the dressing room, or losing his touch like at Dortmund and the end is nigh, or saying Nunez is already a flop, all of the back of 180 minutes of football, then they're either just stirring for reactions (trolling) or are very silly people indeed.

Doesn't matter if they've been here for 10 years and post 50 comments a week, or if they're brand new.

2.) 21 Aug 2022 19:14:54
It'll all be grand for another while when we humiliate United on Monday anyhow.

3.) 21 Aug 2022 19:36:54
It all comes down to a lack of tolerance and a lack of ability to not let others get under their skin.

I swear you would think this page went back 15 years, when there was one page for all fans and everyone was at each others throats ?‍♂️.

4.) 21 Aug 2022 20:43:30
MPH I think you are misreading this. People are not complaining about newer posters making negative comments, personally I don’t know who is new or old. It is more when you consider the overall picture of where we are as a club it is a shame that judging by the comments on this site a lot of people are finding things to complain about rather than enjoy it.

I certainly do not think my opinion is worth more than others nor do I think that all comments must be positive - we probably do need a cm and have made a bad start, but let’s not forget how good we do have it! I think some of the negative comments comes from a desperation of wanting to win because if we only win 1 league title during Klopp’s reign that would almost feel disappointing given how good we have been.

Anyway that’s my opinion!

5.) 21 Aug 2022 20:44:24
OP, the only thing we got from that is that you've been "lurking in the shadows" since 10 years. Good for you.

And for the rest. We all already know that people will disagree, and then others will disagree with those who disagree. And then another bunch will come along and disagree with all the others, too. And the Eds allow it, and one day is followed by another. Where's the "Eureka" moment in all this?

If anything, that's what has made this community grow. Sounds strange, but that's what I think.

6.) 21 Aug 2022 22:53:09
I remember the days of this site when "rumours" started off something like this "my sisters boyfriends mother walks the dog for player/ club rep xyz and he told her that a bid is going in for player xyz". Simpler times. Good times.

7.) 21 Aug 2022 23:03:56
No issue with anyone saying whatever they like, even if it's 'klopp is crap and should be sacked' as long as it is backed up with a reasonable argument and some critical thinking. One thing I can't stand is people stating stuff for no reason. I don't agree with some of what MK says, but he tends to always back up what he believes with a coherent argument, which allows a sensible debate to follow.

8.) 22 Aug 2022 03:50:13
It’s like our supporters page on Facebook. You’ll get the usual suspects who are pragmatic (me imo lol) through thick and thin, those who are rose tinted through thick and thin, those who are that little devil on your shoulder keeping it real no matter what and then you get the cave dwellers who come out in dark times to dump even heavier rain on all our parades lol.

9.) 22 Aug 2022 10:22:29
When people are involved things can go wrong.

19 Aug 2022 23:13:58
Seriously. Can we all start to be positive please. I'm bored of it, but we off the back of nearly winning 4 trophies. We won 2. It's not often a team wins one never mind 2 but nearly 4. We have the same team, minus Mané, plus new signings. Some of which enhance the first team or squad. So we are in exactly the same position as last year. Which means we can win everything again. We all know the positions we need to strengthen, we all want the best players here. But look at what we have, look at where we are, look at where we were. So please all Liverpool fans, supporters and hangers on, please, please, please get behind the team, every player we have and our Boss and support everyone and everything about LFC.

A win against Utd on Monday will put everyone in a good mood. It’s over to the players and Klopp now to make that happen.

We have a 5 day break then before Bournemouth and from then until the international break at the end of Sep we will be playing 2 games a week as the CL starts. Going on a winning run and keeping what seems to be a great but fragile squad fit will be the key.

2.) 20 Aug 2022 08:35:14
We will be positive when there is something to be positive about. It’s been an awful start to the season and you’re implying our squad has somehow improved. It hasn’t, players are older and increasingly injured. I’m happy with Nunez, but will he produce the goods in the same vein as Manè? I doubt it. Point is FSG have hung Klopp out to dry again. I have no doubt we will kick in and hit form, but striving for second place again is depressing, because we ain’t winning the league.

3.) 20 Aug 2022 09:51:54
I knew I'd see at least one post this weekend blaming FSG.
Congratulations on your predictions of doom and gloom for the club.
I often wonder if people can't derive any enjoyment from what the team has been doing since Klopp rocked up why they atually bother with it?
If it's non stop moaning now, what was it like before Klopp turned the club around?
Watching this group play the way they do is depressing?
Some folks need to get a grip. Seriously.

4.) 20 Aug 2022 10:07:26
Try to relax. Chelsea were top in October last year and fell away. No one knows what will happen but we have a top manager and some top players. I am sure we will challenge for the league and the CL, so enjoy it.

5.) 20 Aug 2022 11:34:50
If its FSG's fault does that make Klopp a yes man? A puppet if you like? Curious to know.

6.) 20 Aug 2022 12:19:13
Frode Kippers. awful start? Really. You're a total div fella. 2 draws is not awful, 2 losses yes, but even then, Christ lad, get a grip.

7.) 20 Aug 2022 12:34:26
“We’ll be positive when there is something to be positive about”
????
You sound like my 8year today after 3 hours of video games and laser tag at a birthday party telling me was bored once we got home. Go and enjoy life fellah.

8.) 20 Aug 2022 12:42:56
Frode. has to be a troll. total nonsense posted again and again.

9.) 20 Aug 2022 12:44:47
Its the 2 extremes. Fans who are can only see positives, every youngster is going to 'make it's and our midfield is sorted for the next 15 years, we are only 4 points behind City and all the time in the world to make it up, we are a great team we nearly won all 4 trophies etc etc.
Then you have the doom and gloom merchants staring into the abyss.
Our midfield needs a new midfielder, every player is crap, we will be lucky if we make top 4 this season, Fsg out, Klopp out, Naby out ?, quick stick the oven on in preparation to put my head in come next May ?.

10.) 20 Aug 2022 13:16:06
Two draws is a poor start, it’s hardly as if we were playing Man City or Chelsea away. It was Palace at home and Fulham away, two games (with due respect) we should be winning if we have any ambition of winning the title. The performances were absolutely rancid in both games, we didn’t really create many clear scoring opportunities (almost all were speculative half chance efforts that were either off target or didn’t really trouble either keeper), we looked weak and ineffective in midfield and defensively we looked out of sorts.

To beat City we need to be winning every game we can as they scarily consistent and very rarely drop points, dropping points as cheaply and poorly as we did is not a good sign going forward. Man United must be relieved that they’re coming up against us at a time we look so out of sorts. If this is the best we can muster against teams that will finish in the bottom half then I dread to think what will happen if we play a better team than those.

11.) 20 Aug 2022 13:30:31
But, 6Times, according to some on here we were never going to beat City anyway so what difference does it make? Might as well be out of it early as hanging in there and still not beating them.

12.) 20 Aug 2022 13:49:57
If we drop points against this Man Utd side, probably their worst ever, than I think it’s safe to say “Houston, we have a problem”.

13.) 20 Aug 2022 14:08:26
The Premier Leaguehas, particularly over the last 5 years, has shown that nobody has a 'right' to beat anyone and games we 'should be winning' are not set in stone.

I remember screaming and bawling my mouth off when Leicester beat us 2-1 back in 1981. It was my first game at Anfield without my dad and that was our 1981 team.
No team has the monopoly on winning.

14.) 20 Aug 2022 15:26:09
Not brilliant when we have to be close to perfect to beat City. We know this hence some disappointment at our start.

15.) 20 Aug 2022 15:47:01
The League table never lies?

16.) 20 Aug 2022 17:52:17
So Liverpool are the 14th best team in the Prem? If the league is a measure of the best team, then surely it’s lying until all games have been played?

17.) 20 Aug 2022 19:48:04
Agbonlahor might be phoning Jurgen Tuesday Morning?

footyFANNY, Correct the League Table says that LFC are currently the 14th best team in the league at this present time, how is that a lie when it's currently the Truth.

Unless you can tell me, another way of finding the best and worst teams in the league by another way, besides actual results.

18.) 21 Aug 2022 00:01:03
007, so you actually think that Liverpool are the 14th best team in the league? If they are then that’s we’re they’ll finish. I’m assuming that’s what you’re saying. (By the way, I’m really impressed how you adapt peoples usernames to show how clever you are, who’s a clever boy) .

19.) 21 Aug 2022 16:06:07
@Frode

Are you ready to come clean that you’ve created burner accounts to ‘like’ your own posts?

It’s very transparent and a bit sad. Please go away.

16 Aug 2022 00:35:52
I've decided I'm going to be more vocal now about things LFC related here. But I will bring positivity here no matter what. As we are LFC and despite Ed 25 and manu comments. We are actually an amazing football team. If you support us, don't ever forget it. (Ed25 only wishes he was a red)

{Ed025's Note - you have some very good players mate and I’m sure you will come good. Even the Portuguese Andy Carroll.. ?

1.) 16 Aug 2022 07:27:24
I'm Sure ed25 mate he will score more goals then neverton ??.

{Ed025's Note - he will if he’s not in prison mate..

2.) 16 Aug 2022 08:42:09
ed025, love the Andy Carroll comparison, though i was expecting Duncan Ferguson Mark Two from ed025.

Posters look on the bright side he hasn't bit anyone yet?

{Ed025's Note - still too many iffs and butts for my liking 007 .. ?

16 Aug 2022 00:40:45
Ed1, I once went to a talk from the Chaplin of Anfield. He offered some great behind the scene information during the Shankley and Paisley days. Do you have any more modern behind the scene insights ( obviously nothing that contravenes current plans lol.

MPH

{Ed001's Note - if you mean from the Klopp era, not really. It is not the same as in the past as the club does not have so many locals working on the staff in positions where they see much. Office workers are not in the same place as football staff, so that is one area cut off from genuine stories, rather than just gossip which could or could not be true. The Anfield staff only really see the players on match days, so they only have the chance to get snippets from those really. And the coaching staff tend to be foreign, so not much chance of knowing family members. It has been a long time since any of my family worked at the club, and family friends such as Roy Evans are no longer involved behind the scenes. Added to that I am no longer out in the same places as footballers to get to know them either. That is why click bait nonsense like Romano can get away with it and make a fortune off people. They are preying on people's ignorance and that people will only remember the times they were right while ignoring the fact that more times they were wrong. People like him can release a video saying Ole has got sacked weeks before it actually happened and get away with it by saying it was just a mistake and they were preparing it ready.}

Ed25 as an Everton fan I can see why you appreciate the current situation. I honestly love your input to this page. I love the banter as that is what this is about. You will obviously see the difference in Liverpool and Manu and will accept that over time we will come good. But for now you can relesh in your fun. Bare in mind Ed 25 and as a new contributor now but a a sporadic contributor but more a reader for 15 years or more I know exactly how you are. You grant us with your banter but honour is with respect. Appreciate that mate.

MPH

{Ed025's Note - that’s what it’s all about MPH. Life is serious enough without it creeping into football mate.. cheers

Seriously, can we stop the comments about midfield. If Klopp thinks we need one, he will get one. If not we have what we have. Quit complaining about our midfield. Today our mid field was good, finishing practice is what we need lol.
