Apparently Arsenal are the best team in Europe and would have won the league if it wasn’t for injuries. And Arteta thinks they deserve two titles for their points in the last couple of years.
Maybe we should give them a guard of honour on Sunday and lend them the European cup trophy so they can have an open top bus parade. This might be kinder than forcing them to face reality.

To be fair to the Arsenal fans, at least the ones I know and ones I read, including on these pages, I don't think they agreed either with Arteta. I think Arteta is a man under pressure and cracking a bit. That was obviously a little bit of a delusional comment. Thing is they did play pretty well in that second leg. If he just came out and said, the breaks didn't go our way etc etc. all would be good. But he had braindead moment and farted out that comment instead.
They are pretty close Arsenal as much as we like to joke about them. They must get the summer right though.
Of course, I'm hoping they fail miserably in the transfer market.

Arteta has a loser mentality, and its washed off on the players. Mentality wins things as much as talent does and Arsenal don't have the winners mentality due to Arteta. We could say we should have more titles under Klopp because Man Citys financial doping but that won't happen, the record books are just that, and it will show Arteta has spent almost a billion pounds for nothing.

The points one made me chuckle as he was comparing our total with theirs but this season isn't finished yet.
I genuinely don't know how more Arsenal fans don't want him gone, he's got them competing but I don't think he will ever get them over the line.
It's the best squad they have had in years and if they fail to win either the CL/ Prem next year. Saka, Gabriel and rice will surely all look for trophies elsewhere.

If Arsenal scored more goals than PSG they would have won the CL. They only failed to win the league this season because Liverpool won it by securing less points than needed to win it in the previous two seasons. Clearly got nothing to do with them not being good enough this season…Arteta is a joke and I cannot stand him. I always liked Arsenal but as long as Arteta is at the wheel I don’t won’t them to win anything. The fact he gets a hard on every time they win a set piece and counts the charity shield as major honours, sums up his mindset!

Arteta has Arsenal competing and very close to winning trophies.
They have what they deserve this season. They’ve spent a lot but are a very good side.
Every team can’t win something every year.
If I was an Arsenal fan I’d want to give him another season if they’re going to go out and get a top class striker.
If they do, and he doesn’t win something big next season though I’d be thinking that it’s time to try someone new.
