Hello all,
As I previously said, the first offer for Alexander Isak was expected to be rejected and has been.
The club now will have more dialogue with NUFC.
Both sides want a resolution ASAP.
I expect the next offer may likely be accepted.

If that's what Newcastle plan is (to hold until new strikers are in), what if no new strikers are in? They will allow Isak to get back to the team after the sulking and training alone thingy? Will he perform just as great after being frozen out of a move he wanted?
I think Newcastle should just let him go. With a price, yeah, but holding on too much might cause more bad to them than good.

BIC, I think you need to crawl back under your bridge mate. We will sign Isak this window, it doesn't what happens with Newcastle. He will be a Liverpool player within the next 2 weeks, we wouldn't of submitted an official offer if we didn't think we could get him.

Conflicting reports coming out from top journalists, this is either part of our transfer negotiation strategy or we are just backing away after being given the run around by Newcastle and not taking the nonsense. I think I said a week or so ago that I would not be surprised if this is Newcastles weak attempt at ‘replacing’ isak with no genuine intention to do so, I think they’re just creating the illusion of wanting to move him on but ultimately not being able to. I hope I’m wrong but Newcastles approach to transfers this season suggests they don’t really know what they’re doing but just don’t want to lose their best players. They asked us to bid for him to make it official whilst they seemingly haven’t bid for sesko ?.
I think if we have genuinely pulled out and want to walk away from the deal, that will sour ties between the clubs in the future, which I have no issues with as I’ve never had much time for Newcastle tbh, but we should then move on quick and get a LW and CB in. Maybe even keep Nunez as well and just move on Elliot so we don’t stunt the lads career and get a decent fee in.

Why would we put an offer in that we knew wouldn't be accepted and then not go in with the real offer? Trust in the process of negotiation and stop panicking ober every article.
