Liverpool might look at fulham’s tosin adarabioyo. Tottenham also want him.

Akira2

1.) 29 Aug 2023 18:06:10
He is heading to Monaco mate.

2.) 29 Aug 2023 19:41:06
Your thoughts Akira or some whisperings mate?

3.) 30 Aug 2023 05:57:12
That's a different Akira, aoe. The Akira who gave us transfer news didn't have a 2 at the end of their username.

For once i think Klopp handled media very well and was very diplomatic.
This should reflect well in future. I think we might win the league. Klopp believes in this team and hence there was no moaning. If this was last year i bet klopp was getting fined and maybe a ban.

Akira2

1.) 01 Oct 2023 19:05:33
For once? You must never watch his press conferences during the week cos I do and frankly, I have no idea how the man keeps his cool with people who ask him the absolyte dumbest of questions just to get some kind of headline. In fact sometimes, he will say something. They will take one part of the quote and create a disingenuous headline whereas all the context from the quote is lost. I propose you watch his pressers a lot more often.

2.) 01 Oct 2023 19:26:36
Thats what modern journalism is. Klopp kept it about the team yesterday and didn't sway. It was a great to watch. Normally he traps himself and has a foot in mouth issue. sometimes it creates a negative narrative.
He was all about the team and passion. It was very positive overall and as a fan i felt good despite everything that happened in the game.
He kept it to football and that's just how it should be. Fire and passion on pitch and no bits for the journos to chomp on.
Decisions can go like that. Is it acceptable absolutely not. Can it happen absolutely yes. But decisions should not define our performance and they didn't and Klopp appreciated it wholeheartedly.

3.) 01 Oct 2023 20:47:27
Akira, you can want all that to be true while at the same time, demand fairness, transparency and better perfs. from these officials who are being protected while their incompetence is sucking the life out of the game we love.

4.) 02 Oct 2023 05:35:26
The problem is oli that there are no good referees left in the english game and guys like webb have over complicated things. Decision making comes with experience and freedom
The novice referees are under immense pressure and they are not allowed freedom by being forced to follow protocols which webb decides and there are so many of them that officials have absolutely no idea on the pitch. Then he decides to release audios and discuss decisions in press. Most referees don't want the unnecessary limelight. Only Mr Webb does. Referees don't want every decision to be checked only webb does.
He wants to rule by iron hand and it clearly isn't working. Every game has woeful decision.
Also technology is so intrusive and fans get so much information its bonkers
The referee are just lambs at the moment.
Game will be fine if we let it go sometimes. Referees need to learn and get it right but there will be no instant solution. The more we press it the more mistakes there will be.

These are not my thoughts btw these come from a friend who is a good official and very objective but has had a couple of blunders this season and he can't do anything because there are protocols. Scared referee won't make right decisions.

14 Aug 2023 21:32:12
Think we should concentrate on selling 3 CBs and buying one good one like Schlotterbeck.

Akira2

1.) 14 Aug 2023 21:46:15
Need someone to buy them . maybe Gerrard can help us? ??.

2.) 15 Aug 2023 07:57:06
Weird take, bro.

3.) 15 Aug 2023 10:35:31
Akira, really enjoy your posts, but surely the club should be concentrating on BRINGING players in not concentrating on SELLING more players?

05 Aug 2023 04:51:28
Why is everyone so hell bent on Lavia?

Akira2

{Ed001's Note - because he is good.}

1.) 05 Aug 2023 08:54:24
Welcome back Akira, been a while.

Any transfer nuggets for us?

2.) 05 Aug 2023 10:41:18
Maybe to do with the fact he is 19 years old, is a really good player and has potential to become a world class talent.

3.) 05 Aug 2023 10:44:32
OP, The kid is talented. That is undeniable based off the two games I watched vs Chelsea and at Arsenal.

04 Jul 2023 03:20:28
Seems like a good window. It makes sense to sell hendo and thiago to balance the books and have space for one more incoming midfielder and have midfield refresh. I would add Fabinho to that list and add a fresh CB.

Akira2

1.) 04 Jul 2023 03:51:43
Think it would be huge mistake to let Hendo go especially after letting more then few old guard leave. Unless its for huge amount of money. I would happily sale Thiago and Fab before him.

2.) 04 Jul 2023 05:11:00
No matter what people want to say about their legs and running, there is no sense other than financial in letting any of Hendo, Fabinho and/ or thiago go now. And I would only do it if we absolutely had to due to financial reasons.

With young guns Elliot, Bacjetic, Jones and the new additions, I don't now is the time to be letting go of that experience.

3.) 04 Jul 2023 06:01:35
I think we must be the only fans in football who worry about balancing books and our wage bill.

4.) 04 Jul 2023 06:04:45
Letting Hendo go would be lunacy. Thiago due to injury record sure, Fabinho due to complete loss of ability sure. But Hendo has much to contribute to the side, on and off the pitch.

5.) 04 Jul 2023 06:49:26
We should let go if we get any offers - include Thiago, Fabinho, Matip and Hendo (reluctantly)

We should not be repeating Milner mistake with Hendo.

We should not look for only next season but also for the future.

6.) 04 Jul 2023 06:55:36
Yeah I won’t sleep tonight JK23 if we don’t balance the books. Doesn’t bare thinking about having too many decent players. I like a thread bare squad personally just to save money.

7.) 04 Jul 2023 07:03:14
Hendo is our captain
He runs a tight ship within that dressing room and has a lot of time for his fellow peers as captain I’m all for Henderson not to be a regular starter in the 1st 11 but to say we should sell him is nothing short of a joke he’s needed more than ever in this rebuild
To set the stall out of what’s needed from a Liverpool and klopp player to the new recruits

Got to stay.

8.) 04 Jul 2023 08:57:23
I think Hendo is needed for team discipline and attitude, particularly with Milner going. Also, would you really expect an offer to come in, except for Saudi or a newly promoted team?

9.) 04 Jul 2023 08:06:01
Maybe I am old fashioned but I have always thought of a club captain being a starter every game when fit.

Hendo isn't that anymore. He has been one of the most successful captains in years. If he wants a move a last pay day I think he deserves it.

In terms of losing his leadership skills, sometimes others step up when given the chance. We have players that are used to being captains for former clubs and countries.

10.) 04 Jul 2023 08:27:26
Morning JK, I get where you’re coming from, it is frustrating having to consider transfer fees and wage structures when talking about transfers (in and out) .

To be fair though, isn’t that just being realistic? It’s where Liverpool are at the moment. To not take that into account when looking at potential transfers surely leads to even greater frustration.

11.) 04 Jul 2023 08:34:01
Stevie G interested in taking Hendo to Saudi and Fenerbache interested in Thiago.
They are talented mentors and offer critical experience, and also cost a lot for diminishing returns.
Jurgen has 3 years left and is unlikely to renew further. Which way is going to lead us to success?
Hendo and Thiago cost 400k per week and offer diminishing returns. Personally I'd be happy to let 2/ 3 old guard go, knowing how good our scouting and coaching is.

12.) 04 Jul 2023 10:04:03
It works in FIFA, sometimes in football manager - but does it just work out in real life? Letting go of the entirety of your midfield throughout years, with 3 of them being some of the biggest leaders in the squad that is. I’m all for the generational shift, but I think the club should be cautious with the speed and magnitude of the transition.

13.) 04 Jul 2023 11:00:15
Henderson needs to stay to keep the professionalism there and the standards, until Trent is ready to carry them on, it needs to get ingrained in them, Thiago, Fab and Matip are the key players to sell if Saudi come looking, i would be surprised if a massive bid for Salah doesn't arrive before July is out.

14.) 04 Jul 2023 11:05:31
With you there Dan-ish. I can see Thiago going, but I would keep Hendo and Fab.

Fab has a contract until Jun 26, Hendo until Jun 25.

Of all of our players, I would be happy to give Hendo a free transfer at the end of his contract (if we couldn't come to an agreement by then) . He has been a legend for us and, if he stays to the end of his current contract, will have given us 14 years and lifted every trophy.

With better legs around him, Fab's form may return in which case we will be getting the best out of him. If his form continues to be patchy then we have 4-5 windows remaining before he leaves on a free - plenty of time.

15.) 04 Jul 2023 11:09:14
OP, Hendo is going nowhere as he is the club captain and true leader of the team. He will more than likely take the Milner role a bit more but getting sold? Don't hold your breathe, bro. Klopp will not be doing any of that anytime soon, IMO.

As for Fab, I don't think so either. We could bring someone in to lighten his load this summer but again getting sold? Don't see that happening either.

16.) 04 Jul 2023 11:38:22
Hendo has football in him still, maybe not at LFC desired level now, so, as stated above, if he wants a new scene, let him go.

Thiago is technically great, he’s played in top teams, I think he would be of great benefit to the younger players,

Mac has come in, by all accounts is consummate pro, he would be great benefit to the younger players too.

Mo, he’s fit as anyone, guiding light to youngsters too. There’s Robbo, Trent and others too.

There are leaders in the group, trust the plan guy’s.

17.) 04 Jul 2023 12:21:47
I love hendo his leadership etc but people talkin about mentors and so on isn’t that what klopp and his crew are paid for! You still have vvd robbo taa Matip Jones salah Alison to name to do it if so! If silly money comes for hendo well sell him and Thiago!

18.) 04 Jul 2023 12:34:11
Rumour has it If Hendo leaves the rest of the squad will be straight onto club 18-30 booking a lads holiday in Ibiza.

I’m pretty sure he goes to each players house ebery night during the season to tuck them in with a bed story lol.

In seriousness though Im certain Hendo stays but it’s because he still offers us something on the pitch not because the squad can’t be trusted to be ultimate professionals without him around.

19.) 04 Jul 2023 15:03:52
Game time management. That’s all we need with Hendo, he’s still useful on the pitch if we use him right.

20.) 04 Jul 2023 19:58:02
Hold on to Henderson for one more season, but not as a starter. And hope in the meanwhile that a natural leader emerges to carry on the captain's baton.

21.) 04 Jul 2023 20:01:48
So we got rid of Millie, Ox and Keita and we are suggesting we get rid of Hendo, Fabs and Thiago - 6 out and 2 in? It’ll definitely make team selection easier.

22.) 04 Jul 2023 21:03:30
Henderson will be here as captain for at least another season.
Big bad Dom has future captain stamped all over him, it's just a question of when he'll be ready to grasp the mantle. It's a big step up for him.
Klopp will know.

23.) 04 Jul 2023 23:47:36
Think you are right about Szoboszlai being a potential captain (has everybody seen the footage of Neymar trying to psych him out with the penalty - for a young lad his reaction and post match comments are impressive) . I think the only question mark is will he settle at the club - a lot do, some don’t - and how quickly will he adapt to the PL.

05 Feb 2023 02:55:53
Salah is protesting. He will only score now under ME owners.
I back salah. Even i won’t score for some one who pays me a mere 400k odd plus bonus.
We all done it lads.

Akira2

1.) 05 Feb 2023 05:19:39
Akira- I think his protest is doing anything helpful on the pitch.

2.) 05 Feb 2023 05:31:36
Are you trying to say our striker is on strike lol.

3.) 05 Feb 2023 08:50:09
It's the team's fault and Salah doesn't picket.

we have spend around 160 million on our midfield rebuild this season.
People on here will still moan though.
Its upto klopp and ljinders to get this team firing and winning the treble.

8 midfielders - endo mac szobo thiago baj elliot jonesy and now graven -

6 attackers - salah nunes jota diaz gackpo and doak

8 defenders - vvd, konate, matip, gomez, quansah robbo trent, kostas

And the best GK at the world.

The squad is made for super attacking heavy metal all guns blazing throw the kitchen sink at you football

BTW with exception of probably Halland I take our squad over Mancity any day. that's the level if squad we got on paper.

So if we don't win anything this season I am sorry problem lies with coaching and Klopp. The squad is brimming with infinite potential.

I confirmed this didn’t go through. We have asked for valverde from RM.
They initially are not interested unless something changes which PSG are trying best to change.
Source is confident for things moving very quickly.

Am not sure we actually need valverde atm but liverpool have been keen on him for a good while now just like we were on Gackpo.

There are no referees left in the english game. We have a bunch of inexperienced referees all across the board. This won't change overnight no matter how much we shout. Experience and common sense can't be taught. Let’s concentrate on what’s important and that is football.
You want to blame its ok. But calling it corruption without evidence is not Ok. Incompetence yes, inexperience yes . But there is no stupid conspiracy going on.
I humbly implore all fans to enjoy the football this season and keep away from inconsequential blabber. We can't change the decisions and too much such talk just effects the team.
Its going to be a brilliant season, let's just support the team 100% and keep away from negativity.

Too much energy into what will not change. Mistakes happen. Unfortunately we were at receiving end. As always these balance out.
Lets talk about football and how this team is something we have always expected from Liverpool. Passion and heart on sleeve.

Lack of pace? He accelerates pretty quick and even on turns is very quick. He might not beat one to one race against the quickest but i think he still is pretty quick off zero.
