Hi eds, quick question I've RTPs
We are linked with Valverde and Tchouameni again.
I know tch has been done to death and don't wish to drag that up again. Is there any chance RM makes Fede available to raise funds for kane/ mbappe Bellingham etc.
{Ed002's Note - Federico Valverde (CM) Real Madrid are not looking to sell the player, previously of interest to Bayern Munich, Liverpool and Manchester United, as they expect him to settle in as a regular as Modric and Kroos are coming to the end of their RM careers. That was explained to a PL club who enquired when discussing another player. Manchester City have sent scouts to look at him as they look to add to their Central Midfield options. Liverpool interest could return after losing out on Bellingham but right now they seem to have other targets.}

If real value him at around the price of Bellingham why would we be interested. we couldn't afford Bellingham. no chance we sign players at that price anymore.

I did find it funny with Bellingham coming out saying once real were interested, he knew he wanted to go real. Maybe he forgot that we stopped pursuing him way earlier because he was too expensive? Lol.

Lots of rumours about thuram eds. Anyone heard anything before I get too excited. I know he was a possibility, things seem to be moving quickly.

Donkeys ago Simbus, ed002 created a list and Kephren Thuram was on it.
Can't remember it word for word but something like Thuram is of interest. Think we declared it with Nice which is an odd move to for us. And he could potentially become one of our top targets.
If you re going to cut me down Ed002 for getting something wrong, be gentle. I'm a sensitive soul.

Ed002's Note - Khephren Thuram (DM/ CM) Interest of Manchester United has returned. Interest of Newcastle and Crystal Palace remains although I would discount Crystal Palace. RBL want him as a Laimer replacement and will push following initial discussions. Liverpool asked Nice about his availability given that they looking to add a more DM player and he could become first choice. If interest grows his price will rise and the club would sell given the emergence of Alexis Beka Beka and an impressive youngster in Reda Belahyane. Player wants PSG but they have no interest at this time. Wildcard is Manchester City and another potential upgrade on Phillips. His representative has approached Chelsea in an attempt to have them move their interest from Manu Kone.
There, now it's on the page recently, stop pestering.

Hi Ed, I have read the posts and it's looking likely that Alexis will be joining.
Surely with the very public stance that Caicedo is available from Brighton and coupled with the fact that we will be dealing with them anyway. Is there any chance that we try for Moises as well? Great player and him and Alexis work well together. Or am I putting 5 and 5 and getting 12 :-)

Meant to have scouted Szoboszlaio last weekend. I would love him to be on the list for us Ed? I searched the posts. Seems a better fit than mount and we have a good prior relationship with RBL etc.

{Ed002's Note - Dominik Szoboszlai (AM/M/W) Newcastle, Arsenal, Inter Milan and Chelsea have been keen to take the very versatile player in the summer. RBL would prefer to keep the player but are open to taking a Chelsea player in part-exchange - but Chelsea will resist that whilst there is still a chance of Gvardiol possibly agreeing a move for next summer to replace Silva. And RBL are not keen to lose two or possibly three players to Chelsea this summer having already had to replace Laimer as well. I suspect Chelsea will move on to another target. Newcastle will press and have already made an offer to his agent, but will need to sell their project. I would discount Arsenal who have another target and am not aware of Liverpool showing any interest.

If the rumours are true and Caicedo is indeed made available for 70m surely we get involved. He's clearly someone we like and have had previous interest in. Any chance Ed? Our list of targets is shrinking by the week.

BP - disagree. Caicedo will have an Ngolo Kante effect at whichever club he moves to next.
He should have been our no1 target after Tchouameni made his decision to go to Real.

We will see Fly. He’s obviously leaving Brighton this summer and if he signs for us he will get my full support.
Going by what I’ve seen of him though I don’t expect him to pull up any trees wherever he goes. Good engine but a very limited footballer.
Good luck to him, he’s obviously got a good agent who’s made everyone believe the hype rather than actually watch him play and judge him on his ability.

Obviously we would struggle to replace like for like so probably would look to replace output over a number of positions. If you had 200m who would you buy?
