Please stand on the Naughty Step, mind you if we start this season like we finished last season (Tongue In Cheek! ) anything could happen against the Mackems?
I hope the premier league realizes that 115 charges and counting and Chelsea will be circa two months in front of every other premier league club in terms of fitness and playing game times, new players integrating etc so should be paired against each other as I would say that's a totally unfair advantage to whoever draws them, as they are also being rewarded with sums of money also.
But also of course one club is very happy for the CWC as a spanish speaking player who wore shirt number "666" got them circa £10 mill, which we would not have got if it never took place!
I'm most glad we are not in the CWC as though the English participants and possible European Foes will probably have good early doors with playing tempo and cohesion accompanying them, ye better off being more fitter and fresher during the crucial run ins, in whatever competition you are involved, as they will tire earlier because all the fixtures (Prem, Domestic Cups, Euro games, Internationals) will catch them up earlier than later.
Plus CWC aren't the last two words "WC" another word for a Shi@ House! step forward Guardiola.

Ed25 I’m sure you’d agree it’s all about momentum so winning your first game can be key to that. Most likely way of winning is playing at home. Least likely is playing away.
Every team and their home fans regardless of level are massively up for the first game of the season so by definition any game away regardless of who you play first up is likely to be trickier than later in the season when reality dawns.
We virtually always get an away game so for once it would be nice to get a home game regardless of who we play.
I’m sure you’d say the same.

Ed25 I've seen you make a few bold claims about Everton for this coming season. What's your honest thought on how you fare in the league? Moyes did well last season when he came in, and I like the big lad Beto up top. but i honestly think you'll be hard pressed to finish in top 10 and potentially another relegation scrap on your hands. Just my opinion mate!
{Ed025's Note - we will finish in the top half Bmena..and you can take that to the bank mate, we will make a few good signings (and probably a few Curtis Jones ones) i expect but we will be strong and competitive..
