Your first line is false. He is expected to play against Crystal Palace in the CS this weekend let alone the Bournemouth game in two weeks.
We do need a CB. I suspect they are waiting out on Guehi.
And in terms of current squad I would easily say Endo is the best of the non conventional CBs. If I had to rank our CB options in terms of ability at CB
Van Dijk, Konate, Gomez, Endo, Robertson.
Unfortunately I don't think any of the young CBs look ready. Nallo. I know is highly rated but he looks like there is a big mistake ready to happen Everytime I see him play. I'd be more comfortable with Robertson even than one of the youngsters.
And I hate seeing Grav play there as it takes away an important midfield component.

Whatever the case, even if he missed the game and we bought a center half tomorrow, I'm not sure you'd want to throw them in the starting lineup 4 days later, surely Endo would be a safer bet since he is acclimated to the prem, the system and his team mates.

Calm down, even if Slot is planning to use Endo as a CB it’s not the end of the world it gives us 4 CBs which is the same as we had last season.
Yes we’d be weaker if Konate or VVD were injured but that was the same last season and the season before that.
All that being said I’m sure we’ll sign at least one CB anyway.

I’m not sure I get the hype with nallo. His positional sense seems worse than quansah and in the trial match he was often caught wandering back in def letting others deal with breakaways. Seems like another player who was able to get away with stuff as a junior because of his physicals and neglected the basics of defending as a result.

Slot said that VVD should be fit for the CS. He even said Gomez could be back for the CS but that it would be tight. As a result Konate, VVD and Gomez are likely to all be fit for the Bournemouth game. Then we have additional cover from Endo, Stephenson, Nallo and Robertson who can all play there.
We do still need to add another CB to the squad but it's hardly a crisis right now.

Nallo is very young for a CB Phil with a few England U18 and 19 caps, let's see how he develops. Quansah is nearly 4 years older and isn't doing too bad all things considered.

We’ve 2 cbs joe is way to unreliable and konate is prone to a knock! I think cbs are a priority! I don’t fancy robbo near cb and Endo is a stop gap!
